I wanted a waterproof cover for my boat electronics and thought that this engine cover would do the trick. What I discovered after one 80-mile trip to the lake is that the interior of the cover basically broke down leaving white dust particles all over my electronics. The wind basically beat the interior of the product up and won't hold up for my intended use. The product was well made and if just utilized for exterior weather protection, I feel would have worked just fine.

This cover fits our 6HP Tohatsu well. The cover comes right down to where the leg joins the motor housing. Even covers the tiller handle when it is set upright. Previous motor top paint got sun damaged as we store the motor out on the stern rail of our sailboat. This should help keep the sun and salt spray away from the top end.
