I was actually really surprised with this little set given the inexpensive cost. It comes with several instruments, mostly wood and they all work like normal instruments and are decent size. I wish it came with a little card explaining how to play them all though. I can’t quite figure out how to use the little clam shell looking instrument. My 1 year old loves the bells, my 3 year old really loves the tambourine, and my 5 year old loves the triangle and the little spinny drum thing. Unfortunately the handle fell off the spinny drum thing within about 5 minutes. You can put it back on but if you spin the drum the top just flies right off. I think a little wood glue would fix the problem but kind of a bummer to have something break so quickly. Also the recorder stopped blowing properly after a short time. I’m not sure what was even wrong. I thought maybe the mouth piece got dented or something. I was able to get it working again after some time but not sure how I fixed it. Overall my kids are having a blast with these so I can look past the little things. I also think this would be a great gift for any young kiddo.

This is such a sweet set...giving everyone an opportunity to join in the band fun with almost all the instruments more like percussion rather than playing actual notes. They each appear to be very good quality, it's not a bunch of plastic junk. We love to jam together as a family and I thought this set would help us get into the musical mood more often and when friends come over. We enjoyed trying out all the instruments and delighted in each one's unique sounds. Highly recommend!

I got these for my 2 and 5 year Olds and they instantly fell in love. The quality and durability are perfect and stand up to even the most enthusiastic play from the kids. They truly make nice sounds and give me a chance to enlighten them about some music basics. Definitely recommend these for anyone with kiddos to keep entertained

This set is made of solid wood which is all too good. Some of the instruments sound nice enough to add to your music score. It's made for kids but a whole lot more. All the pieces are well crafted and feel solid not like flimsy dollar store bits. Not sure how to use some of the instruments but my one year old isn’t going to use them the right way either. It’s a good selection of percussive instruments. Most of them just need a good thwack which my kiddo will enjoy. Each piece came individually packed in a plastic baggie- collected in a canvas drawstring bag with a cute music print. Not a fan of all that extra packaging. It’s not protecting the instruments or anything but things needlessly wrapped in plastic is just how things are made it seems. The storage bag is decent and easily holds everything. Nothing worse than a toy with lots of pieces that doesn’t come with a storage method or worse a finicky one. There are no true duplicates but some a similar enough that the 3 and 1 year old can feel like they have the same thing. All in all I’m pleased.
