I love black Christmas trees. I had one i lost it in a move that wasn’t pre lit so a blessing in disguise. I had to get a new one. This is a good tree well lit. The remote is pretty cool. It has warm lights and cool lights. But it’s not as full as i wished it would be.

VINGLI 6ft Black Pre-lit Artificial Christmas Pine Tree with 250 Warm White Lights Best features first: The black color is great. That's the best part. More manufacturers should offer these. They let you go anywhere you want with color, and they're a lot more dramatic than a standard approximation of a tree's green boughs. In addition, the lights are plentiful and -- amazing these days -- the "warm" setting on these LEDs is actually very warm. (Who knew anybody knew what "warm" lights mean anymore?) It also has a "white" setting, much more like most garish LEDs, but the good thing is that you can either use only the warm setting or the white setting or have them alternate. The standard little white remote (we all have a ton of them from different things) works fine and gives you several good options from frantic blinking madness to serene steady glow. If you're using blue ornamentation on the black tree, the white setting will be extra helpful as it has a very blue cast to it. But there are bad problems with this product, which will stop me from buying a VINGLI tree again. You'll need to spend a lot more time "fluffing" the branches than the manufacturer suggests (or than you likely would prefer to spend). The hinges that hold each branch work well. But without a lot of unbending of the branches and twigs (unbending is what they mean by "fluffing"), the tree continues to look scrawny. "Fluffing" is scratchy, tedious work. I'd say expect at least 90 minutes for a standard size tree, and even more if you're really trying to get the gaps to fill. It simply does not have enough content to make the tree look full so in the end, you're still disappointed, no matter how much time you spend on it. In addition, the plastic "needles" are flimsy and cheap, mashed together, not able to approximate the look of real needles. Not too much shedding, as others have said. The main pieces of the three (three pieces on mine at the 6-foot size, more pieces if taller) don't necessarily fit together well, which can end up creating a lean. The worst part is a bad defect of the way the footer is fastened to the bottom of the tree. A plastic nut meant to let you tighten the thumbscrew breaks right off. It cannot be epoxy-ed back into place, and so you end up having to straighten your tree by trying to get something under one of its four feet -- like you do when a restaurant table is unstable, right? You put a matchbook under it or something. Which is ridiculous for what you pay for this thing. This is another cost-cutting measure. Rather than actually boring a hole into the bottom piece so that the thumbscrew can join the base to the tree, VINGLI has saved on construction cost and sold an inferior product with this plastic collar that's almost useless. In short, this tree is a big disappointment. In a dark room from some distance and with a lot of ornaments on it to fill these ridiculous scrawny-tree gaps, it might be OK. But if you need it to be in near-view range, you won't be happy with it, I'm sorry to report. (I really am, I wanted this to work.) Next year, I'll come to Amazon with more money ready and will look for a black tree that's much better constructed. And maybe it's a good time to paraphrase the old trope: "Consumer reviews are made by fools like me, but only God can make a tree." :) Happy Holidays!
