I love this rocking chair! I keep it on my screened in back porch and have had it there for the last few months. I can’t attest to how it would hold up in direct weather or sun. However, we’ve had 3-4 incredibly awful storms with hail and high wind and rain that soaks the chair, and the wood has held up beautiful with no breaking down or peeling. I was pleasantly surprised and loved it enough to order a second on There are small circular covers over a few spots on the assembly of the chair that have fallen off and are definitely choking hazards for small kiddos. (They give you an Allen wrench big enough for an infant to hold Making it difficult to use. Took three days to put them together.(Indent marks and pain from the wrench being so small We just ordered a sectional. As soon as it comes? These chairs aren't worth the money. And will be going to the curb. Oh and one night I was sitting in it. The entire side came away. I could have gotten seriously injured. I wasn't rocking . Just sitting. I heard a crack. The wood is not smooth. It as numerous ruff spots on nearly every part. Paint about the same mostly shiney black with flat black spots. It did arrive in good time and mostly in good condition. Super easy to put together. May need a drill for the bottom rocker part to drill into the sides of the chair but, the little tool they sent worked perfectly to get the rest together. It’s wide and comfortable
