I didn’t spend a lot of time researching pillows before I came across these. The price seemed decent for 2 and the reviews were really good. They arrived in a package that was smaller than I expected, but don’t let that fool you. These bad boys came stuffed to the gills with memory foam bits AND two bags of extra compressed fluff. I had to remove so much from each pillow to get it just right for us that I had enough to honestly fill a third queen size pillow if I wanted. So, instead of tossing out the extra or just storing it in a corner of my apartment somewhere, I came on here looking for a set of throw pillow covers and bam! I absolutely love these pillows. We purchased the king size. For years I have struggled with neck pain and ever since using these pillows the past few months my next pain is gone. They’re so soft yet firm and supportive and the fact that they’re customizable is awesome. There’s plenty of fluff so you can really make your pillow for whatever works best for you. My husband says these are like the my pillows. I like my pillows more on the flat side so I took the extra fluff and made a cute throw pillow with it. Even when it gets more flat after a lot of use it is still so soft and comfortable and easily fluffs up again. I bought some plush-like pillow cases for these and it’s like sleeping on a cloud. As the description suggests, it is in deed a firm pillow but the memory foam adds just the right amount of comfort. To me it seems to have some cooling affect and that’s a plus. I’d recommend and would buy again.

Trust me there is no need to add the extra foam but save it. As we know all things break down and wear out so maybe a year from now I will notice that some of the firmness had gone away. I’ll just open the bags of extra stuffing they sent and add it to the pillows. Don’t open the bags thy sent till you think you’ll need them because there vacuum sealed flat and you can stick them away most any place. These are my first queen sized pillows and I like them very much even tho there wider. It’s nice to roll over and not have to scooch the pillow over ... show more

I am a side and back sleeper who prefers really firm pillows. These pillows (I used all of the filling), are firm, but soft. Shredded memory foam is the way to go! I woke up without neck pain for the first time in YEARS. These pillows are far superior to any "firm" options I've tried--and I've tried so so many.
