This custom Drone Valley RC-2 Video Display Kit was designed to allow you to allow you to view the screen from your RC-2 controller on an external monitor or widescreen TV. You can use the cable to view the video from your drone while flying, or review your footage on a larger display. This 2M cable features a right-angle USB--C connection on one end that plugs into your controller and reduces strain and a full-sized HDMI connection on the other for your display. We also include a right-angle adapter you can use with the cable for connection to your laptop or other device for enabling display on that gear. ~ Note - The cable must be connected to your controller and display before the controller is turned on to enable the video function. ~

Just got this through a link from Drone Valley. Everything he has designed and had manufactured has always worked perfectly as long as you adhere to any restrictions he may have. In this one, you must not turn on either the drone or the monitor until you have attached them to each other with this cable. (I am waiting on the monitor delivery. This cable works perfectly to connect my brand new DJI Mini 5 Pro to an older (Gen1) DJI Goggles. Just needed an HDMI-to-Micro HDMi adapter for the Goggles’ input socket. I tried about 4 other cables attempting to get video from my DJI Mini 4 Pro controller to a monitor and none of them worked until I found this one. This one works! There is a you tube video from the designer explaining it. this one works where the others didn't

Works as advertised. I was concerned about the cable length but it is long enough that I can leave a portable monitor in the car (for others to see) and step out to keep an eye on the drone.

I bought this cable after watching the “drone valley” YouTube video. I tried connecting to 4 different monitors. I couldn’t get a video feed on any of them!

This is exactly what you need to run a monitor for your DJI RC remote. Just remember to plug it in before you turn it on.

Not sure what everyone is doing right, or I'm doing wrong. Could not get it to work at all. Tried several TVs, multiple HDMI's, Monitors etc...Ensured cable was connected to both before power up--still a No-Go. Tried changing the sequence of cable hook up to power up--that didn't work either. Ended up using a different setup. USB-C from controller to regular adapter/splitter (with HDMI, USB-C and USB-A ports), then HDMI from that to TV--worked flawlessly. Seller had me return item-they refunded me the price of the cable and when they received the item back, they reimbursed me for shipping--I appreciate that. ... show more
