I already purchased a memory card and had started using the video feature for work. The usb cord got destroyed. I tried to just get a replacement with no luck. I’d have to send everything back, which would’ve been more of a hassle. I would point out not just any usb cord is compatible. We tried several. Update: I have been able to find a replacement usb cord that is compatible with the camera. The seller also offered multiple times to replace the camera in its entirety. I am changing my rating based on this additional information.

Get this and avoid the disasters that come with kids recording with phones. Kids always want to see themselves perform. But buying an expensive phone or allowing them free access to social media is scary. This is so inexpensive compared to a phone. Has great quality video and can easily be uploaded to share on a computer. The screen flips around so they can see themselves. It able to be mounted on a tripod or is easy to hold in a hand. There’s a cord to connect to the computer or TV and you can use an SD card if you have one for storage. It’s rechargeable—No need for batteries and it lasts for almost 2 hrs. This, in my opinion, is a better alternative to phone recording for both the cost factor and the safety issues associated with social media.

When compared to comparable products with equal characteristics, the price was too good to pass up. I've always recorded videos on my phone, but this is a better option for lengthier videos and a more formal approach. It's a lot simpler to hold in my hand, and while I'm filming, I really feel like a pro! The functionalities are not overly complicated for a first-time video camera user, and the user manual that comes with it makes learning how to operate it a pleasure. Overall, excellent for what I anticipated!

Got this for my daughters science camp so she can capture some memory. They did not allow cellphone but said it’s okay to bring a camera. This is pretty much the size of the camera but much easier to operate. The camcorder have a camera mode and a video recording mode, so both can be easily done. The display can be rotated for easy viewing. The zoom is pretty incredible and can pull objects from really far away. Overall my daughter is really excited about the trip and camera. She’s been practicing on how to do recording and how to transfer back to her computer. Worth the price.

I liked the size and style of the camcorder. I took it on my road trip. Once I reviewed the pictures., I noticed some were grainy or blurry. Maybe I didn't have the settings correct. But the videos that I took came out great. Would buy again.
