The media could not be loaded. This is a great little camera, packed with some really important features. First, it is true HD and even UltraHD (4k). It has a very good quality shotgun-style microphone that picks up sound really well, and another feature I really like is that the microphone can be removed, and swapped out with any standard audio microphone (in my case I wanted to use a wireless lapel microphone) for maximum flexibility. The included microphone draws it's power from the camera so it does not need additional batteries. It comes with TWO rechargeable lithium ion batteries; these are expensive and the fact that they include two at this price is a great benefit. Two instruction manuals are included; one for the camera and one for the microphone. They are in English and are easy to understand. The camera also includes a wireless remote control which makes taking selfie videos a snap--it is a great feature. The camera has a standard tripod mount. It also has a rotatable viewing screen, so that if you are taking a video of yourself you can see the image on the screen while the camera is pointed at you. I have used the camera outdoors in bright Florida sunshine, and I have used it indoors in normal room lighting, both day and night, and it adapts well to all conditions I have tried so far. I have not tried it at night without lights on. The camera uses standard SD cards for storage (not included, about $20 at any department or electronics store). AN IMPORTANT NOTE: SD cards have evolved over the years, from SD to SDHC and SDXC and these formats are not necessarily compatible with each other. The owner's manual simply states a spec for an "SD Card", but the older SD format is no longer manufactured or offered for sale. I tried both the newer SDHC and also the newer SDXC and the camera worked with both, which suggests to me that the camera is indeed newer technology but the manual simply doesn't mention so. Overall, a great camera for the price. Small and compact, but it feels solid and comfortable in your hand with the attached strap, and at least for me I find it has all the right features. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I needed to buy two cameras and this was one of the chosen ones. I bought one for myself and one for my cousin and this one in particular was the one that did the best in the long run. Compared to the other one it did better because it came with more supports and the box came more protected. The drums and footage are good, the sound is very realistic and the microphone helps with external noise and the night mode has met my expectations the barrel worked to stabilize the image, the photos had a good resolution especially in daylight and the zoom works well. It came in a legal packaging and with a protective cover to avoid damaging the camera. And the delivery came before the deadline. Overall I thought the purchase was worth it. ... show more

    • You definitely get what you pay for.
Video quality isn't the best, but it works for my purposes. It's also inconsistent on which SD cards it wants to read/write to; I have an old Kodak 2gb card that it will record to just fine, but I also have a new Samsung EVO 128gb microSD card that's in an adapter, and the camera shows that it records to it just fine, but it won't playback on the camera's playback function, and when I try to access the video files on my computer, it says the files are corrupted. This is a consistent issue between these two cards, and I've tested the cards on every other application I have at my disposal to use them on, formatting both cards each time, and no other devices have any issues with either of them, just this camera. So be mindful of the SD card you plan to use with this camera as I suspect it won't work with anything beyond a 64gb card, and even that may be generous. ... show more

    • Terrible video quality...
I bought the camera and a new 128gb Sandisc sdxc-UHS-1 sd card, the camera instantly wanted to format the card and everything seemed OK, I tried to transfer the video to my laptop and all it showed was the empty folders and the sd card installed an app "Play video memories". I checked the sd card to make sure it wasn't locked, checked the card in my laptop and double checked that it was inserted properly, then took another video and still nothing, but the videos are showing on the camera, so it is recording, but probably in an unaccessible part of the card, I am guessing it does not support a 128 gb sd. Next... Video quality is comparable to a 2mp toy camera, the color shifts erratically and will not stabilized, the color shift moves from orange to gray and blue tones, depending on movement and shadow, even out doors in the direct sun or shade (un-useable!) NEXT... Their is no "anti shake" this thing is very unstable and offers zero image stabilization (use a tripod...) NEXT... Video quality is so rainy and chopped, images literally look like they were cut and pasted crooked! I would post some video, but that won't work cause I have no way to transfer an empty file, I can't even transfer directly to my laptop through the supplied USB cord, it will let you view the small screen through the supplied HDMI cable, but it includes all of the text and icons that are on the view screen, I am not sure if the text goes away on the videos or if you are stuck with it... P.O.S. I will be keeping this one for a motion sensor camera in my RV, even though it is complete junk it does come with 2 batteries and a nice microphone that can be used with a real camera. One other thing the handle does not work with this camera, it needs some washers or a spacer to attach to the lower screw socket, the way it comes is extremely loose....Thanks for reading my short story! ... show more

Not satisfied with this camcorder at all. The picture quality is very low and the sound, OMG. The sound is horrible. The videos I've recorded the sound is popping in and out through the entire video. I've tried recording with it a number of times and get the same thing. I'm gonna request a refund on this product. Not satisfied at all. ... show more
