As always I was a bit intimidated by how hard it would be to figure out how to use this device out and how much time I would spend reading directions, reviews and watching videos before I could actually start making videos with this camera. To start, everything we needed aside from the sd card was included in the box. We were pleasently surprised at how simple it really was. We had no time to really figure this out ahead of time so Christmas morning was the first I had even seen the camera out of the box. I didnt even bother with instructions just read the box, put in the battery and hoped for the best. We all had so much fun taking turns recording videos of each other. Even the kids, no one had any issues. Just push the button and point at what you want to record. I look forward to spending a little time checking out the features and making a few videos to upload to you tube but I have no fears that i will have any issues doing that either. It amazes me how inexpensive this video equipment is. I recall spending 10 times this much for one tenth of the quality and features. Not know much about audio and video I recommend this especially if you too are looking for something that is good quality and easy to use. ... show more

I decided to buy this video camera for my personal drive range project. It works perfectly for my needs. Image quality is good and some of the functions like slow motion fit perfectly my needs. The most important feature is the remote control by which I can start stop and review my video and decide if keep them or delete without move from my drive range. So many additional options like two batteries, very useful! It comes also with a directional microphone which makes the audio even better than the one you can get by the internal camera mic. The only thing you need to buy yourself is an SD memory card. I'm using a 64gb which can store up to 3 hours video. Very satisfied for the price paid. ... show more

    • Total Fraud listing! False features! Buyer Beware!
First red flag when opening this camera was the mini usb charger port. Mini usb is outdated so right off I knew this was probably an older model of some kind. 1. There is "no touch screen" feature at all. 2. There is no auto focus. The image resolution looks like 720p NO JOKE! It's not even close to my older phone quality. 3. Zoom is not even close to hitting 16x. More like 4x is what you get. My honest opinion is these Chinese cameras all over Amazon are outdated auction cameras that have been pasted with "4k" and "2.7k" stickers to fraudulently get rid of them on Amazon. I have returned two so far that did not meet the quality and features advertised. Next one I get will be an actual respected name brand. ... show more

This was a Father’s Day gift and he is enjoying it so much. He seems like a little kid with it all the time. He’s in a music band and they record videos and what not so this was great as it has great quality in picture and sound. Having the microphone set makes it sound very clear. You can turn flap so you can see yourself which is his favorite feature. Battery life lasts quite a while and charges fast. Throw the product may seem a little flimsy, I'm not going to give it a bad review, because it's actually a good product for the price. The imaging is decent, and when I transferred it to my computer it was very simple. It's very lightweight, and the sound quality isn't that great. That's not a make or break when you pay for something that's inexpensive. I will use it for home movies or just as an extra camera to film something from different angles and to get extra shots or a bunch of people just clowning around. I think it's a fun little camera to have around. The night imaging is pretty decent so like I said there's nothing that can really make a break this camera and the pictures aren't that bad neither. ... show more

Nice little camera. Come with a bunch of cool attachments. Only thing I don’t like about it is the image isn’t clear that clear when your zoomed in. If using it for close video, no problem. Great for the price

The quality for the price is pretty good. However, one of the batteries it came with does not work/ won't charge. The sound is much better on this one than the other camera I bought/returned from another company at the same price point.

    • Great Place to Start!
I'm notorious for starting a new hobby and immediately diving in and spending way too much money. When I wanted to make some short videos and decided I wanted a dedicated video camera, I looked at several options that cost easily 3x or 4x as much as this camera, but there's no reason to spend that much - especially starting out a new hobby or for what could be a one-off project. The features packed into this little package are really impressive. I've used much more expensive cameras with much worse night vision and audio pickup. I'd typically be hesitant about suggesting a lesser-known brand to someone trying to learn, afraid they'd get frustrated by a bigger learning curve or less resources out there. But I really do think this camera is intuitive enough that anyone could easily pick it up and start recording their own content. This camera is more than capable of capturing quality footage to make home videos or online content. I tend to be rough on devices, and while sometimes paying more for something means it can take more abuse, cameras tend to all take drops down a mountain the same. I'm excited to take this camera on some adventures over the next few months, knowing that I'll be capturing content at just as high quality as I could on my DSLR, but won't be anxious about risking more expensive gear. ... show more
