  • Fantastic!
99 bucks? Functionality of much more expensive controllers? No brainer. Been gaming for 15 years on xbox. Best xbox controller I've ever used including the Microsoft elite v1. You can buy a beaver or a scuff for 220+ or buy this for 99. The purple faceplate is the best, comfortable and feels great in my hands. Read a bunch of negative reviews when I first ordered it and got worried. I've been nothing but very pleased so far. Dual back paddles are easy to use and are a game changer in fps games. Negative reviews talk about cheap plastic. I agree the white face plate feels cheap, the back plastic and triggers can also feel cheap if you just hold it in your hand. But when I'm using it? Feels great and performers great. You aren't going to get Ferrari fit and finish for corvette money. Just like a corvette though you'll get Ferrari performance and function for half the price. ... show more

  • No questions, no doubts.
I have about 700 hours on this controller. In that time I can early depict that this by far is the best controller I’ve ever used. Many people will compare it to the Gamesir G7 SE, which I have also used. But the Victrix Gambit is far, far superior. It’s faster (by about 0.08 seconds), it’s smoother, has a nicer feel, has better customization for key binds, easier to upgrade, etc. the games I play with this controller would consist of Tom Clancy’s R6S, Fortnite, Battlefield, Dayz, Forza, Ghost Recon, Stray, and many more. Even still, no stick drift, no problems. If you’re a competitive gamer, GET THIS CONTROLLER!! If not, maybe look for a cheaper option, but this is still a great controller. ... show more

  • A week in and so far so good (In-Depth Look)
So I stumbled upon the Gambit Controller on a video on YouTube and it really peaked my interest. Found out about it's crazy response time which wasn't exactly accurate since they say it's about 2.5ms when you really get around 3.8ms on average but it's still by far the fastest controller I have apart from the Dualshock 4. Since you can't really use a DS4 on Xbox unless you have a XIM Apex which does add more lag, this is the best alternative if you're a huge input lag nerd. I mainly got it for the response time which I felt almost immediately connecting to my Xbox for the first time. I can tell everything felt more snappier as well as my aim. I mean... it took some getting used to but after a couple days, I started winning games and getting more kills in Apex Legends, GTA, R6 Siege, etc. I run a very low input lag setup and usually I can notice even a slight 2ms difference or around there easily since I've done so much testing before with my setup. Thumbsticks felt awkward at first but grown used to them and they're awesome. No stick drift at 0 deadzone which is fantastic and I think even if you do get some overtime, you can calibrate the sticks again so it could fix most of the stick drift. And holy crap does it have amazing features! Love the customization as well as the Victrix App on Xbox... just wish you can change the sensitivity curves but really idc much about that. You can still adjust the deadzone on the Thumbsticks but only up to 50%. I run with 0% which is preferable for most games. But what truly shocked me was the feel of the controller. I mainly use a DS4 and always loved the feel of that controller but when I tried the Gambit, it felt SPECTACULAR. For my small hands, it fit well with them. Love the feel of the triggers and bumpers as well, personally my favorite especially for racing. I can adjust the trigger stops to get perfect launches in racing and other stuff which is cool. I thought it wasn't going to fit well in the hands since it has more bulk than I'm used to but it really surprised me. I also use the rubber faceplate since I like the purple and not quite a fan of cheap feeling plastic so that's what I went with. The only issue I have so far with the controller and I mean the ONLY issue is just that you cant plug in accessories to it like a mic adapter that the Xbox controllers can use. Big setback for me since my Mic requires me to use the adapter with it but I think I have ways around it. Everything else is exactly what I expected.. actually better. Good all-round controller that can be great for racing and perfect for FPS. I also forgot to mention the paddles feel good too but I kinda just use one of them most of the time, don't usually need that many. So yeah! Best $100 I've ever spent on a controller and 10/10 recommend. Just be aware that you cant use a standard Xbox Mic Adapter on it. Kinda have to use a secondary controller to talk if you have one of those Mics. Kudos to the manufacturers for real, good job and great experience. Been about a week and not a single issue. No stick drift, nothing! I just hope this lasts for awhile. ... show more

  • Great controller, but doesn’t last…
At first this controller seems like the goat. It’s light, responsive , and fits your hands nice. Works great and your happy about your purchase. If you’re an avid gamer like myself this thing starts breaking down…mainly the left and right trigger. I was noticing they started being less responsive and I’d have to press them harder and harder. So I would recalibrate it through the app. Seems ok for a few games then again not as responsive and as you know every little amount of pressure is essential in gaming. It’s annoying to keep going in and trying to recalibrate it because they get worn down so quickly. It gets to the point where it’s not even worth doing it or guessing if it’s going to work right or not. I thought maybe I had a defective controller and since I liked it so much I bought a new one at game stop. Then again , at first I remembered why I liked it so much the. About a month later same old story on the triggers. It actually got to the point where I would press the right trigger and it would make the left joystick move to the right a little bit and was just messing up all around. I finally had to go back to my elite 2 and give up on this and eat the loss. I went through 2 of them.. I really wish they would make this controller more durable because it’s so good at first then just wears out like it’s a kids toy. Hopefully they fix this issue I can’t be the only one…it’s worth the $99 if it worked like it’s supposed to for a long period of time but obviously isn’t worth the money because it only lasts a short time depending on how active you are on it. Don’t say I didn’t warn you! If the company is reading this feel free to chime in!!?? ... show more
