I am new to this riding a bike in the city (live in San Francisco, CA). I wanted a really good helmet. The rechargeable rear light, optional visor and googles added up excellent features. Upon receiving the helmet, the quality is great. Also, it fits snug like I learned to wear my motorcycle helmet and it is comfortable. The rechargeable rear light has several types to choose from i.e., flashing in different patterns or just solid. Another great feature. The visor was a bit difficult to get to snap in place and the rear light came out while charging and didn't want to stay in place. It does appear I got it in. I was hit by a car on my way to work today while riding my bike, wearing this helmet. My bike was completely wrecked and I fell pretty bad, hitting my head.
