* Just as pictured and are a great addition to our patio. * They rock & swival. * Even tho they do not have cushions, they are very comfy. * They are a little tall from floor to seat. I'm 5'2" and my feet are about an inch from the ground ... unless my dog is in my lap, then he weighs it down. LOL!! * Hubby is 6'2" and they fit him percectly. * The seat backs are tall too... but, not too tall. * They are easy to put together. * Only gave 4 stars because of the issue with that one piece (see TIP below) & because there are no written instructions... just pictures. * I would highly recommend these chairs. INSTALLATION TIP: Just remember to not tighten the bolts until you are done with a section. The instructions are only pictures, no written words. If the holes are not lineing up, then you've tighten a bolt too tight. We did have one issue wirh the piece that goes on the bar thst goes across the seat of the chair. It has 4 bolts that attach two metal plates. One of those plates were crooked & we couldn't get the holes to line up. Hubby was able to loosen the tight bolts & then we could move it to align the holes.

These 2 chairs are well built and should last quite a while. They are black and go with my table perfectly. Customer service for this company is assume. I sent them a email about a very small part on the base that got hit in transit and they sent it over night. Had the next day! I would recommend these chairs and I would purchase them again when I need them.

The stabilizing nubs on base of chairs were plastic and one was already broken during shipment, can’t imagine what would happen if someone sat on them. Flimsy metal and chairs come in multiple pieces, nothing is even partially assembled.

I ordered the 2-piece selection of these quite nice patio chairs in the color “Sanshell.” I am very happy with the way these look on my patio, since they’re neutral-colored, making it easy to blend them with my other décor while also being modern and stylish. They’re also very comfortable for both my husband (6’0, 155-lbs) and I (5’4, 110-lbs) to lounge in. You’re able to lean back a bit in them, and they allow for a bit of nice rocking. The swivel feature is great for placing these up to a dining table, making it so that you can easily get in and out of the chairs without having to actually pull these relatively weighty chairs out from under the table. The swivel is easy to engage, but it’s not so loose as to ever send you flailing around unintentionally. The assembly process was generally okay, but it’s also where most of my complaints arise (I’ve attached several photos to illustrate). As I unpacked the material for assembly, I noticed a couple of loose nubs floating around that looked broken off. You can see that I lost one nub foot for each of the chair’s bases so that they wouldn’t be able to sit evenly on the ground, wobbling slightly instead. I managed to reattach them with superglue, but I’m not sure how well that’ll hold up over time, especially considering that they’ll be moved from time to time and that most of the time, they’ll be on my outside patio in the intense, Florida heat and humidity. While the finish and displayed areas of these chairs looks really nice and smooth in general, I noticed when assembling these that the bar that passes under the panel you sit on had a much more scratched up finish. It’s not visible on the assembled product, of course, but I felt it was worth mentioning. The instructions were pretty well illustrated and easy to follow, but they could have used a little more detail to reduce confusion, and the letters labeling the parts on the diagrams could have been formatted better for easier legibility or recognition. One actual error I noticed was that a certain part was labeled as “AI” on its sticker, but in the assembly instructions, it was labeled as “AL.” Finally, while it was great that a pair of actual metal wrenches were included, once of them nearly injured me when I was removing it from its packaging. You can see among my photos that it has a very sharp and significantly-sized burr protruding from it. It should never have been packed up in that condition. One final thing I wanted to mention that might help with assembly, since it’s not clear in the instructions, and you can refer to my last photo to illustrate, is that when attaching the seat of the chair to the base, the instructions don’t specify how to orient the parts together. Thankfully, a little nub is present on one of the parts to prevent it from being attached in the wrong direction, so if it won’t attach because a little nub is in the way, then you need to choose the opposite orientation. If it does fit, then you’ve got it right.
