I am so disappointed with this product and of course now I can’t return it. It burned the soap base and was impossible to clean. It also melted unevenly which is why it was burnt on the bottom and I even had the setting very low.

It was decent priced but one hicccup is it runs a little high for wax so turn knob slightly below 194 degree mark after first use because when it comes out it’s at about just above 202 degrees. It is not too bad to clean but make sure you also add extra wax about 3 oz. Is good. Also spout comes off to clean make sure you do that ... show more

This piece of garbage lasted all of 15 seconds before it shorted out and stopped working. If you leave any wax in it after use, it automatically breaks. Waste of money and time.

Had this melting pot as a gift. The temperature gauge is not accurate and so it’s easy to burn wax - experimented on a number of occasions and logged information, so I know I am not at fault. In order to get wax out of the pot when it is below the ‘tap’ you have to tilt the whole item which is not safe. Not worth the money. ... show more
