This is a 3L ultrasonic cleaner using 2 transducers in the unit. It holds right at 3 quarts. I use water with some dish soap to do the initial cleaning. If I have rusty parts then I usually put some evaporust in a ziplock bag and place the part in the bag then place it into the cleaner. This works fairly well and keeps my usage of the evaporust to a minimum. Also makes the cleanup easy as only the debris is in the bag. It is noisy and know this up front and it is just the way it works. The heater works well and can set as well as the time to run. Make sue to always use the basket as parts should not be placed on the bottom. Easy to clean. One should clean this after using so debris does not collect on the bottom. ... show more

I bought the special cleaning solution to use with this cleaner. I have cleaned coins, night guards, finger nail implements, jewelry and other metal objects I find with my metal detector! Works great on gold and silver rings! I dont need to take my night guard to the dentist anymore. Very happy with this. the plastic tray insert makes it easy to place the objects into the solution and retrieve them afterwards. It handles small objects up to the size of a nail file: too small for hair brushes. I bought a bigger one for larger objects: was twice as expensive but worth it. I pray it lasts a long time. Size: 10L Pattern Name: Cleaner
Ultrasonic cleaning isn't magic, but it takes some common sense. It is easy if you're not in a hurry. This cleaner is nice, has a good temp control and easy to use interface. I bought the 10L one because it had a large enough basket to fit a carb, pistons, or VW oil cooler. I also got little baskets for the small carb parts. It take time and temp to make stuff clean. If you have a super gummed up part, figure on a couple hours of cleaning. The negative is that the longest time you can set is 30 minutes...no reason they couldn't allow it to go for a couple hours unless it's a duty cycle thing. So expect to hit go a few times until you're happy with the cleanliness. Changing the cleaning fluid / degreaser is easy enough. I've been using some generic cleaner from amazon...I'm pretty sure it's a rip off of Simple Green (but was cheaper). It comes with a drain valve and a somewhat crappy (but functional) nozzle/hose. That's ok by me...it functions and I don't need brass fittings to drain out the used fluid/degreaser. Expect really dirty stuff to make your degreaser really dirty. I've found that most things get clean within 2 hours at 40C, including the really gummed up and nasty carb which was the reason I bought this (turned out like new I might add). A few parts have taken longer, namely the oil cooler I should have bothered pre-cleaning prior to tossing it in (live and learn...needed to change the degreaser/detergent after it). I've not tried it with actual solvent (like carb cleaner) because I've found hot degreaser to be sufficient. Biggest thing now is to have a nearby system to flush the degreaser out of your newly clean part. And yes, it's loud, expect that, probably not the tool you want to put it in your bedroom or someplace you want peace and quiet. I can't believe the reviews complaining that the ULTRASONIC cleaner is loud...what did you expect? Luckily it's small enough you can simply put it outside and let it run if you so choose. ... show more

Switch overheats causing the housing to melt and shorting the circuit board. Contacted Customer service provided photos and evidence. They keep going in circles with correspondence. Submitted Photos Through email, They contacted through Text asking for information. I gave them everything they asked for order details photos etc. They told me to replace the switch and see if the circuit board was shorted out. It was explained and confirmed that the board was shorted out. The smell of the electrical shortage was a definitive indication. It was also accompanied by a loud pop and our circuit breaker outlet resetting. "Thank you for your letter. We are sorry to cause you trouble. Please replace the power socket and check whether the circuit board of the product is faulty. If the circuit board fails, please contact us again to reissue the circuit board for you. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation." "Thank you for your letter. Our technicians have determined that this is a power socket failure. Please replace the power socket. At the same time, please follow the following operations to eliminate other faults: 1. Please disassemble the bottom plate (the edge screw) and check whether the vibrator wire (red and black wire) is loose and whether the positive and negative poles are inserted reversely. 2. Check whether the fuse on the circuit board is burnt black or broken. 3. Check whether other components on the circuit board are burned out or cracked."
