After a lot of research I decided on this cooler for a long trip. As others have stated, it hold the ice a long time. On day four my block of ice had melted to about 1/2 its original size (a large Rubbermaid container from my freezer). It also helps that the divider can be froze. The divider is not enough to fully keep items cold, but it is extremely functional. I love that I could use it to keep two different temperatures. My lettuce didn't freeze and my ice cold drinks on the other size were very much ice cold! The removeable try is an excellent feature/accessory. I used it a lot on my first long trip. I didn't use the bottle opener. I actually found it to be a pain because when you first use the cooler the latches are quite a tight stretch. So when I was closing the latches the metal of the bottle opener would rub my fingers. This was a bit uncomfortable. I changed the way I held the latches, but them I pinched a finger. Minor. Likely I'll use that bottle opener at some point. Excellent product and made in the USA! ... show more

Purchased this for use at a music festival during the hot Iowa summer. Average temps over the last few years have been in the upper 80's. Previous use of cheaper big name coolers have resulted in the need to restock at least once for the three days festival and often twice. This is limited only by hacks such as adding spray foam insulation to the lid. With this rotomolded cooler is awesome. It is a as all of them larger for their size than traditional coolers. This can be a limiting factor if you have a smaller vehicle for travel. It is also a heavier than traditional coolers. The weight and size is well worth it. The ice lasts for the full weekend plus multiple days after the festival. The divider and basket are great accessories for the price when so many other companies do not include them and some don't offer them. I highly recommend this product to anyone who would listen. Vevor is one of my go to brands at this point due to the high quality relative to the price point versus competitors. ... show more

Took on a recent canoe trip. 3 1/2days and there was still ice in the cooler. The days weren’t very hot by the sun did get pretty strong. Temps in the 70’s for highs and forties for lows. In n out of it constantly. There was still ice in the cooler when we got home. The only thing we don’t like about it are the handles, would have preferred rope handles w rubber padding. ... show more

Great cooler for the money keeps ice in one form or another for five days in the Florida sun. I like that the cooler is shiny and not a dull finish a lot more room inside than a yeti. I’m actually thinking of selling my yeti and getting a bigger one to complement the 50 quart when I bought.

We bought this cooler to be able to take on a four day camping trip and not have to keep refilling with ice. The sturdiness and design of the cooler is absolutely what I thought was, flawless. In hopes that the rest of the information and facts about the cooler would stand true. Well, I am going to start here, you get what you pay for. It's a phenomenal design with the middle ice pack. If you are looking for a cooler with ice retention and being able to stay at a cold temp without the ice melting every few hours, this cooler is not for you. I had a cooler of water within the two and a half hours of travel in an air conditioned vehicle. I now am stuck with having to montitor the cooler and make sure nothing goes bad inside of it, drain it and refill it, every few hours. If I would have known this would have been an issue, I would have spent the extra few dollars to grab a cooler that works. Vevor really did a great job marketing the cooler, however it does not stand true to their statements and facts. I would not recommend this cooler, more work maintaining it, than it doing it's job. ... show more
