Picture to be attached Pros: good price, fast shipping, powerful, easy to install, quality hardware Cons: instructions are terrible but unnecessary, huge solenoid box I tried finding a location my 2011 jeep under the hood to put the box. It's too big!!! Wires aren't long enough to put under the bumper. I ended up mounting it on top like the pictures. I have a non oem grill that made the installation a bit more difficult. I had to slightly modify the brackets to move the box and 1/2 inch forward. All worked out nicely in the end. Tested operation and everything worked. Will update review once I put a load on it. I can't believe I got this winch for $205!!! Easy to install, and works excellent. There were no instructions, but it's color coded, and anyone can figure it out (or look it up on youtube). This winch is a perfect, inexpensive addition to your off road vehicle. It came with a shackle, a wired and a wireless remote, and a pair of leather gloves, but does not come with any sort of mounting plate. For $205, it's a STEAL! ... show more

Easy install, remote works great, only complaint is that the manual controller is cheaply made. Had to duct tape it right out of the box, but it still works.

This product is a real pile.. Do not buy it.. I installed it and it worked fine but the 1st time I needed it approximately a year later it did not work after looking into it and pulling it apart the entire unit was rusted because nobody had installed any type of weather seal to protect it from moisture.. I have bought many winches in my lifetime and have never had this happen.. If the seller response was sorry the warranty is over.. The problem with that is that they sold me a defective product out of the Box and this is something you don't always use you with not know if it was defective until time passes.. ... show more

For $193, I couldn't pass this up. I've only used it for a couple days, but it was flawless. I mounted it on my gooseneck trailer to load scrap vehicles. Using a yellow to Optima battery, I pulled about 3 vehicles 10feet through the dirt, up the steep ramps, and forward on the deck. After the 3rd vehicle, the 4-year-old yellow top ran out of juice, but the winch was still running strong. Wireless remote works great, and included wiring is high-quality and heavy enough for the job. If it had been more expensive, I probably wouldn't have rushed it, but I gambled and I won:). I replaced my 17,500 lb winch with the new 18,000 lb. I feel the 17,500 had a better pulling power. May be rated a little high for what it really can do. But it still gets the job done.

I don't write reviews unless I am impressed, and then not until the product is well used. I have used it to pull myself out of the mud, friends with much bigger trucks out of the mud and other jobs as well. The latest was cutting 60ft. tall trees that were leaning over my cabin. We needed to persuade them to fall the other way. Using a snatch block secured to another tree and this winch did the job. The remote worked out very well for this project as well.
