Very decent quality. Simple to adjust the amount of cut material. Not as loud as my neighbors planer. Finishes the wood smooth enough that I don’t need to use 100 grit sandpaper anymore. I’m starting my projects with 150 grit paper so it will end up saving me some money and time on my projects. Without the dust collector chute on it, wood chips go everywhere but I’m sure if I connected a shop vac to it, there would be very little wood chips and dust.

I have never owned a thickness planer but I've used one at friends shops. Decided it was time for one of my own so I began watching prices in them. I've never heard of Vevor and really wouldn't have considered the brand but when I realized that the 24 blade spiral cut model was the same price as their 3 blade model (just under $300) I decided to take a gamble. Despite the few flaws I think I'll be happy with the purchase. I'm a hobbyist so I won't be using this to plane hundreds of feet of wood a week. Pros: The planer is heavy enough to not move at all when in use (~60lb). It gives softwood a pretty smooth finish, depending on the project the surface could be good enough to not require sanding. I haven't tested it on any hardwoods yet. It is easy to use and easy to set up. Dust collector seems to work well; I ran about 40ft of repurposed pine 1x8 through it and had maybe 1 cups worth of chips that didn't make it into my dust collector. It is no louder than you'd expect and significantly quieter than a yellow 2 blade model I have used. Cost is less ($130-200) than other spiral-cut head planers and a fraction of the cost of a helical-head machine. Mostly metal. There are some plastic parts such as the switch housing and chip port but all of the structural and body parts are metal. Cons: This will seem like a lot, but it's really not, I just want to describe my findings. First, the "manual" is next to worthless: poorly translated with low quality pictures, but this is a common complaint of Chinese manufacture items. All but useless! The outfeed table cannot be fully closed when the chip port is installed, even with the cutter platform fully raised, as in the photo. The infeed and outfeed tables cannot be made properly in line with the planer surface: the hinges, which don't appear to be adjustable, are slightly too low. The feed tables can be adjusted but it only adjusts the angles of the tables, not their elevation, so that only the outside edges can be made level with the planer. I may try to take off one of the feed tables to see if I can discover a way to modify them. Snipe may be an issue because of the feed table issues I mentioned above, but it really wasn't too bad on ten 40" long pine boards, noticeable but only if I really looked for it. It is single speed. Again, not an issue for a hobbyist. Overall I think I'll be quite happy with this unit.

Wow! Cuts so nicely and no sanding needed. These are 5.5" x 6' cedar pickets that are $3.67 each but I will have the best fence in town! Especially after I seal it with a nice Behr stain. I wish the up and down was automatic instead of a crank but for $400, this is my best purchase of 2026 so far.

Don't waste your money. I used this three times now and found it's broken.. the board height measurement broke off and got pulled into the cutter which cracked the cutter blade housing and took a chunk out of the blades. The rollers that pull the wood through the planer struggled to pull wood through. You ha e to physically push them through. The first time I used it worked fine. After that it went down hill. I regret this purchase. I have had this a few months now so it's out of the return window. I would definately not recommend this product.. whish I could give a zero star.

If you hit a nail... its so easy to just turn 1/4 turn each small square blade.... plus this is much quieter than a 2 or 3 blade planer. Great product!

I bought this because I make signs for members of my church. It has done an absolutely awesome job. The dust collecting system is awesome. Works great with my wet/dry vacuum. Being able to planer several sizes of lumber is awesome. Definitely a time saver for me. It leaves an awesome finish. Very little sanding or trimming when I'm done. Seems to be well built. I love it.

Does a great job so far. Runs quieter then expected and handles all types of wood that ive run through it without any problem. Made of metal instead of a lot of plastic which to me, makes it better built. Very satisfied with the planer so far and was a decent price for the job it does.
