The first thing I used this rope for was to make a 27:1 pulley system to tension and set a soft shackle button knot. That means I put almost 13kn (3000lbs) of force on this rope. I tied a double bowline on one side and I had a directional figure 8 on the first pulley that were taking the most tension. The knots held great and to my surprise, came undone very easily afterwards. While using the pulley system, the rope stayed very static and exceeded my expectations. I will mostly be using it for highline anchors and tree net rigging purposes. Super happy with this rope, and for the price I can’t complain. The main reason I chose this rope over others on Amazon was the ASTM rating. I’ll purchase this one again next time I need more rigging rope. ... show more

For the money and everything the Rope does exactly what it's supposed to do but it's thick rope so it doesn't Bend real easy it's very stiff. It's heavy duty climbing rope it's not meant to be very very pliable and maneuverable. I'm not allowed to complain for the price

It is not a super great idea to climb using this rope if you aren't a seasoned arborist. The skin around the eternal strands moves and bunches. Plus it isn't super nice for knot tying either but I used it for one job 💪🏽 it will save you money and help in a pinch but don't count on it saving your life 😂 ... show more

The quality is good for $0.30/foot - better than what you'd get from the hardware store. This is a kernmantle rope with a 12 strand parallel core, and a 24 strand sheath, so it's a stiff rope. Needs to be milked and cut, it's NOT pleasant to tie and dress knots with. Look this rope up on Youtube and you'll see it has been break tested at just under 30KN. I'm deducting stars for the questionable ethics Vevor has when it comes to advertising. Taking a hard fall on this rope will probably turn you into mashed potatoes, so recommending it for rock climbing seems irresponsible. The ASTM rating they slap on it means nothing in terms of climbing reliability, just a marketing tactic... ... show more

For the price it’s an awesome rope. construction is correct for a kermantle style rope , and I saw a test online it broke at 32kn as advertised I use it as a tree climbing rope and have no doubts about it keeping me safe. it did have considerable jacket milk which needed to be milked at its entirely length and cut off . Once milked with a fiction hitch along the entire length I ended up with approximately 4 feet of jacket which was separate from the core. cut it off and ropes been good to go! Feels like a really quality rope , pretty stiff but knots well even after milking . ... show more
