This saw performs remarkably well, matching the quality of my Dewalt but at about half the price. One of my favorite features is the shadow guide, which I find far superior to a laser; it accurately displays the exact width and position of the blade’s path. My only performance note is that the sawdust discharge hole tends to clog when cutting softer woods with a 32-tooth blade. I did have a minor issue with the shadow light LED, but Vevor’s customer service eventually resolved it. My advice to other buyers is to skip the website ticketing system, as it seems to route through an overseas department and caused a delay to my initial response. Once I switched to direct email communication, the process was smooth and they took care of the problem. Overall, it’s a great saw for the price.

Incredible value for the price. I've only occasionally needed a mitre saw capable of cutting larger dimension lumber that my fixed dual bevel 10" saw. I got this to cut composite boards for my deck. It arrived without damage and fully dialed in for accuracy. I've been able to adjust mitre cuts by as little as 1/2 degree to accommodate inaccuracy in deck framing to get nearly invisible abutments of boards. Everything about the saw is light duty and I wouldn't buy it as a contractor, but for the DYIer such as myself it has been ideal.

Exactly what was needed. Build quality is good. Cutting accuracy is spot on with less than a 32nd of an inch of slop. Great value for your dollars. Cuts treated 6x6 very well. (Need to rotate 180° for full cut through)

Wow! What an amazing 12" compound miter saw! The deck, the backrests, are machined to perfection! The arm action with a couple drops of oil, is smooth as silk. After a wax and wipe it gleams! This saw is very stout! The tilt action works great and has 2 locks. The turntable arm is nice and tight for accuracy! Highly Recommend!!

The secret missing data for the 12" version: * the blade shaft is 1" so it takes standard 12" blades; * the dust collection port is 1-5/8 in diameter (41.5 mm). Don't count on any customer support in the US, you'll just get the runaround with canned messages, but they don't know the product and have no idea what they are talking about (quick to answer tho). The documentation coming with the product looks like written by a drunken lawyer who never saw a miter saw. Nothing useful there. Plan ahead: the motor is 15A so you'll need to upgrade the circuit breakers if they are not at least 20A. The build is solid but unrefined. I liked the design and the features. Not a DeWalt, but reasonable for the price. Didn't get to run it yet.
