Incredible value for the price. I've only occasionally needed a mitre saw capable of cutting larger dimension lumber that my fixed dual bevel 10" saw. I got this to cut composite boards for my deck. It arrived without damage and fully dialed in for accuracy. I've been able to adjust mitre cuts by as little as 1/2 degree to accommodate inaccuracy in deck framing to get nearly invisible abutments of boards. Everything about the saw is light duty and I wouldn't buy it as a contractor, but for the DYIer such as myself it has been ideal. ... show more

I had a old miter saw that someone gave me long ago and it was pretty beat up and not accurate and did not have a double bevel capability. This Vevor compound miter saw is extremely impressive! My test cuts were perfectly straight at 90 degrees. The sliding action was super smooth and actually slid on it's own backward because my work bench is not completely level which I had no idea. I purchased due to the dual bevel tilting head which I need to build the angled roofs on my hexagon bird feeders. I have many new tools but this is the Jewel of them all. I thought it might come with a laser light but it only has led light which is fine with me since I am a master woodworker :) . ... show more

Originallywas going to buy the rigid/Delta zero clearance miter saw but decided against one of those after seeing how much deflection the blade had at full extension. All miter saw have some deflection but this one definitely has less than the Delta/rigid saws for half the price. Quite happy with this saw. Only gripe is with the lack of aftermarket parts available compared to more popular saws. ... show more

Assemble was easy and the saw cuts clean and true. Just what you would expect from a compound miter saw. Now that's what I would expect from a mite saw. Now what I love about this saw is the LED light with its paper line. What and improvement over a red laser line and it also was true to the cut cliff.
