this isn't a woodworking tool so much as a project kit, all the parts you need to almost make a working router plane. horrible steel blade stock that is too short to be useful, doesn't hold an edge so great for practicing sharpening, a small tippy unstable base, cheap plastic handles that spin, and all for 1/4 the price of a real tool. its best feature is how easy it is to return to amazon for a full refund. ... show more

Among other flaws, it’s impossible to take the blade out to sharpen it. And the base is far too small. Don’t waste your time, it’s only a tool-shaped object.
