I used it today for melting some aluminum test it out and while it did melt the aluminum good and I was able to pour 10 bars the issues that I had with this is the following..... about halfway through my pouring of bars I noticed that the plate at the bottom was cracked in half likely because of the intense Heat. But when I finished pouring my aluminum and when I poured my last bar I noticed that the Crucible didn't look right and got a little close and checked it out to see that it was actually splitting and cracking everywhere kind of like a 20 year-old truck tire with dry rot, while I may be able to use it again I highly doubt I will be able to pour more than a couple bars and I am not happy with it because I will need to bye new equipment to replace the broken ones after the first use. This article is bad operation, bought family expenses to fry, cannot be used, constant temperature is not good, heating all the time after opening, no matter how much, heating all the time directly, do not recommend to buy

    • Service needs a major overhaul.
The instructions are useless as are the gloves. Not only were the gloves suitable for just garden work, they sent me 2 left hand gloves. I also had to find another connector for the propane tank.
