This thing is seriously awesome! I use it for daily commuting, grocery shopping, camping, everything. The main body panels are a durable plastic while the locks, bolts, and plates are all metal. I can also attest that it is indeed fully waterproof. Installation does require a little time but its not overly complicated and I'm sure it would fit on most racks. I personally have it installed on a trex racing rack for a Kawasaki Eliminator. I believe this box is of equal value and quality as bigger name brands like givi or shad. . . Except its a fraction of their price. If you're on the fence get this one

This is the best box I've purchased thus far. It's huge inside with pocket storage in the lid. It looks and feels very durable and it was slightly heavier than I expected but not too heavy. This was the best value I've seen on Amazon. It was easy to install and the whole box can be removed with a key.

Great value for price, the outside is definitely aluminum despite what a lot of reviews say, the corner brackets are plastic. The whole thing is very solid and good quality and I've had no issues

BEAUTIFUL FIT! My bmw g310r for perfectly with this box. It looks better than before and it is really secure. Build quality is amazing and the waterproof works too. Was easy to install and had a lot of capacity to put stuff in.

This box is great, for the price I couldn't ask for more! Plenty of space, and I like the pockets inside to keep my registration and other paperwork safe. Quality feels really good, the weight isn't too bad, and I haven't noticed a change in riding. Highly recommend this box. With all of that said, there is something I should point out, at least with my super tenere. The bottom adapter plate didn't align with my premade holes, but the box does come with w brackets that did align with the slots on my tail. The screws were too long, so I needed to cut them down with a Dremel, but after that it worked a treat. I'll need to get a pic of the setup I have with the brackets when I get a chance. FALSE ADVERTISING. Highly disappointed. This box is NOT aluminum, IT IS PLASTIC!!. Only base and buckle locks are made of an alloy. Only realized it after installation and now I'm not going through uninstall to return it. I don't need an aluminum one but according to the description it is an "Aluminum Alloy Motorbike Tail Box..." but IT IS NOT, IT'S PLASTIC. Will be filing a case with Amazon.

Seems like a pretty good sturdy top box. Unfortunately I didn't realize I would also need a box mount plate, and with my Triumph I would also then need an adapter plate. In the end I found it easier just to spend the money and get the OEM box. But for something that would work with a universal fit, this seemed to be pretty good quality.
