I was worried initially it might not be compatible with some bouncy balls I bought in bulk, but tested it twice and it works as seamlessly as any in the independent pharmacies I used to visit. It doesn't come with its own stand or balls, but the keys allow me to refill it. I'll eventually implement a mix of capsules and bouncy balls if I can do so safely so visitors will never know what might drop out of it. If nothing else it is a nice novelty for the home and I can see why stores use it. For $56 before tax I was surprised it worked so well and required zero assembly. Keep it up! I may buy more of these if I get a shop of my own or if I want to offer more variety of things to my apartment guests.

I loved the blue color, which is why I chose this specific candy machine. It does seem cheaply made. I was expecting the bowl and base to be plastic (which they are) but I was also expecting the parts that are silver to be metal (which they aren't). The inside mechanism is metal and that's the most important part I suppose. It did come with two keys which is important to me because I'm always misplacing a key; I like to have a backup. It holds a lot of candy. Different shaped candy does tend to get stuck occasionally and sometimes it doesn't dispense anything. I just keep backup quarters handy in case I need to make up for an empty withdrawal.

It came assembled, but I had to take it apart and put it back together before it would work properly. Does not feel super sturdy, but I preferred the plastic instead of a standard glass dome. Unfortunately, the description says the coins need to be smaller than 1.1 and smaller than .4 diameter, leading me to expect to be able to use all coins up to quarters. Unfortunately, it ONLY accepts quarters. Gonna have to try to figure out if this will work for us. Not sure if this is a defect or if it is a error in the description.

I bought this gumball machine and was upset that the dial didn’t turn when I put the quarter in. I asked for a replacement and again the dial won’t turn. I’m very disappointed. I bought this for my class and they were so excited to use it. They were very upset.
