Functionally and appeance is nice, you have to access your money through the top after disassembly, most of the parts are plastic except for the frame and twisting handle. It fits a lot of gumballs!

I bought this with the intention of making it into a tbr dispenser with papers in small capsules. I am in love with it!!!! The yellow had to go tho so I spray painted the body with a spray paint with a primer. Still had to paint it twice. I used frosted glass spray paint for the container. It says it holds 420 1" capsules. I bought 1.1" and only 337 fit but that's not a deal breaker for me. I'm not if you can change it to free spin because I want to use the quarters to save more book money but I think you can if you remove a piece of the mechanism that spins. I'm already thinking of getting another one as I still have plenty if books to add to my tbr list.
