Don't waste your money!!!!! Took 7 months to gather parts and build my conversion trike! SEVEN MONTHS of work and the motor doesn't run properly!!! Makes a horrific grinding noise and barely turned. Contacted customer service and they said, "It's been past the 60 days return policy". Well I'm sorry I wasn't able to test your product before your deadline. They won't even make good on their product. Spend a little more money get a better motor!!! Unless you like rolling the dice!! ... show more

The motor looks good, but I did not test it yet. I am very disappointed that I never received the chain shown in the picture. Edit: I spoke with customer service twice, and was finally helped out the second time. My 3* went to 4* because she was just great. I tested the motor and it runs very well. Wires were cut, battery connection was melted on the positive side. Vevor was going to fix the issue, but they blocked me from communication when I accused them of stalling until my 30 day return policy was up. I was extremely nice except for that comment. I still strongly feel that was their plan. Amazon had me pick out a few things that would fix the issues, and refunded me the money for those items. I still had to solder everything together, and it was a real pain in the ___. I will avoid the Vevor brand from now on. They lost a customer, and I will tell everyone I know to stay away from this business. ... show more

Everything except the chain arrived on time. I placed this on a mountain bike, it worked GREAT!!... until you actually rode it. Flat road it got up to 15mph tops. It started up the hill just fine, then the controller blew(burnt my hand from the heat). I'm assuming it was using all 52 volts trying to make the motor spin at 4500 rpm and couldnt handle the charge. Broke down and bought a BBSHD mid drive, havent looked back sense. ... show more
