This tire was for my son’s Apollo go scooter and will replace the other tire with one of these soon. One side is relatively easy to put on. The second side is much harder and will require a small pry bar. it was hard to keep in place to mount the other side. I saw a video where zip ties around the tire was used. That really helped keep everything in place for the pry bar. I did not use zip ties for all of it but about half of it all the way around the tire. The first side was already on.. i saw other posts where they are having extreme difficulty mounting the tire. I would recommend the zip tie method. ... show more

This is the tire you want if you need a replacement for a Phantom GoGo A8 scooter sold at Costco. There are YouTube videos of the OEM wheels being replaced with solid rubber tires, but this product preserves the pneumatic tubeless tire experience using the valve stem that’s built into the hub of the motor. That said, installation is a challenge. You obviously can’t boil the rear wheel because of the electronics, so getting the original tire off requires tin snips or a grinder tool to get through the 4 steel beads that are on each sidewall. The new one will snap into place using tire irons and an extra set of hands. Avoid using heat or the self-sealing gel will liquify. The rim gets pretty scratched up with all the prying it takes. Took a minute to get mine airtight because the bead wasn’t quite lined up and air kept escaping during inflation. One we knocked it into place, tire held pressure and rode well. ... show more

For starters, Apollo builds nice scooters but they mark up everything on their website to high prices. These exact**** tires on the Apollo website would be 59$ each and then 20 to ship. For one tire. I bought this here because tires in the official store were out of stock and I couldn't wait. These worked great for my Apollo Go. Just watch their official video on how to replace the tire without getting the self-sealing goo all over the place. If you're replacing the rear tire, also watch the specific video on how to remove the rear wheel. I was able to do it with just a little elbow grease by myself ... show more
