So after a few months of use I have to say I am super happy with this trailer and the smooth ride. For the cost the quality is amazing and well built. I was able to put this together with ease in less time than I imagined (15-20 mins). I can bring my dog on long rides and he doesnt have to sit at home anymore. The only thing I would recommend to buyers would be to make sure your animal is lying in the semi-middle of the trailer as if they are pushed to one side, the side can stick out and the fabric can rub against the wheel. The actual bike trailer seems great. Relatively easy to set up and rode well the first ride. Would have given it 5 star except it came out of the box REEKING like an ash tray. Don’t want to return it because it actually seems like a great product, but wherever it is made/stored/packaged is creating a pungent odor. I drenched it in febreeze and going to air it out on my covered patio for awhile. It is such a strong smell that putting the dog bed inside the bike trailer, then taking it out after a ride caused the bed to smell like an ash tray as well. Why did you pick this product vs others?: Dog weights 70 pounds and carrier was too small although ad on amazon stated it fits 88 pound dog. Just recently opened up box and put it together....dog barely fits. I wanted to exchange but I waited too long and past the date for return and i wanted to exchange for a bigger carrier and pay the difference. ... show more
