i ABSOLUTELY Love this cutting/drawing machine. I had another brand and was very dissatisfied with it, this one however meets and exceeds my expectations. It is very quiet, very quick, and very accurate. I did not like the simple software it shipped with but I had purchased a decent software package to work with and the cutter interface seamlessly with the software I had purchased. Again, better than my previous cutter which used proprietary software and hardware connection and was just a pain to even try to use. The cutter also supports offline work and this is very handy as well. I was fairly priced, even economically priced I would say considering the quality that I got. Update, Vevor helped me get this thing running int he software I use everyday!!! I does still needs mats. But only ones just to feed the vinyl in will do the pinch rollers hold the vinyl in position The cut settings that make it weed like butter is offset .3 and overcut 1mm. Slow speed own if it not closing the cuts. I am getting a Roland blade holder for the silhouettes. Ill be the new decal queen. This is a craft cutter, it will not get you away from buying mats. the tunnel with the roller bar is so big the vinyl just goes inside the cutter and wraps around the bar, without the mat, both directions, it backed up cutting and tunneled under the bar that way also. The default cut settings in the software provides horrible unwedable cuts. It cannot just connect natively, it always has to be found first. I am the second week into trying to get this cutter to work. I have another large format cutter for large car decals, I wanted a 12 inch that will handle the small stuff and work and cut at the same time as the large one cuts decal. The have the same software title but they can't run the same software, Singmaster, I need to have 2 versions installed one to run this cutter and one to run the other, they cannot be run at the same time. In fact they can only be run on the same machine installed on separate drives. I emailed Singmaster a week ago, no answer, I went to Vevor, who said Id get an email response within a few days, yeah nothing, Amazon has 2 questions that loop refund or replace, their customers services is non existent ask Vevor. ... show more

    • Better than anticipated
It's the 34in Vevor, 870 model. Works exactly as described. The Signmaster software provided is windows only, but this works just fine with Mac and Linux using third party software. Signmaster supposedly has Mac versions, but I can't verify those. I use Sure-Cuts-a-Lot v6, but have tested it with EasyCut Pro on Mac and InkCut on Mac and Linux. (Inkcut requires some tech skills to get the ports to work, YMMV) Comes with a few rolls of vinyl. I had to build my own pen holder, as the clamp built it in fixed size, and doesnt hold my pens, but it's easy enough as long as your pens are smaller. If you have thick pens, they will NOT work. If your a tech guy it may be easy to set up if your not it will be hard. I bought the 12 inch button model bundle and wow you get so much plus tools. I have an apple Airmac. You will need 2 adapters with apple airmac. You first have to hook up on Bluetooth from a cell phone through the software Superb cut app and run the test sheet. That app it’s not good at all, not many options or good designs but you have to have it to activate and calibrate. Then you can use Exac cut software offline with your own files. Also be very careful to treat this machine good, you don’t want to damage it in any way by making mistakes. You can use ChatGPT the upgrade 20.00 a month to guide you through the hook up properly. There are many windows you don’t know are there so you have to help ChatGPT as well. The exact cut software uploads your photos from your computer and that’s all I cared about. Later I want to learn the arts and craft part, making cards and stickers etc. You will see a blue card envelope and that’s where your code number is dont misplace it. Warning: In the Superb cut app they send you a verification code, mine went in my spam folder so check there if you don’t see it in your email. If you need help you can reach out to me because the directions are not helpful nor videos. And after you pass the test part you can put the first sticker on your machine. Absolute trash It came with the software SignMaster to install in a USB, but the box didnt have any activation code. The box also included a card with the code for another program, ExactCut. That one works, but when I try to cut, the program asks me to press the machine's Start button, a button that the VevorSmart 3 doesn't have (and yes! I pressed all the buttons to see if any of them performed the Start function, but they didn't). I don't understand why they gave me a program without activation code and another one that isn't compatible with the machine. And I don't want to spend another $30 buying SignMaster since the code should have been included in the box. If anyone knows how to fix this, I need urgent help. ... show more

Works, is a steal at $99 I sort of expected a broken device given the price, and was planning that it might need a repair or other technical changes to work. But mine was fully functional, came with a nice metal stand and some sample vinyl This device speaks the HPGL control language via USB-only; on my unit there is no serial (COMM) port support. There is a serial cable and physical port but they don’t work, and the USB interface isn’t a serial adapter. Instead this device registers as USB printer. This has advantages but means that old instructions for serial ports don’t work The included Windows software works with the updated USB interface and the device is also usable without special drivers on MacOS and Linux. I found instructions for setting it up to work with any OS by searching for “vevor kw 780a driver cups” ... show more

The price is right and if I were to do this again I would go for the simple button model. You really don't use the screen much as most is preformed in the software. Can't install app for android, wish there were more hands on videos made by consumers. Overall I am happy with the unit, as others have stated software is lacking. ... show more
