I love the price of this unit. The size is great and it produces a lot of ice. We bag it up and freeze it. When we set it up we put a whole house filter on it because we are on well water. Our drain hose goes into a 3 gallon container because its not in the kitchen. GREAT DEAL!

Makes ice fast but does not KEEP ice very well. If you leave it running the ice will just melt and drain out the back. Very useful for filling up coolers and such but you cannot run it all the time. Very nice to be able to fill using a water bottle or tap into water supply.

The connector hose for the water does not fit an ordinary water outlet. Can't use this thing. It won't make ice with water in the reservoir. Waiting on seller to see if there's a fix or I will return it. Never seen a "portable" ice maker that can't make ice from the reservoir. How did people who gave it a good review get it to work?? Something doesn't make sense. Update: the seller never contacted me back. I will be returning this p.o.s.

No issues with pumping out ice. Doesn’t appear to be any nosier than the smaller units I’ve used in the past. Only issue is the ice comes out as a block instead of cubes. The block has to be broken apart so the ice can be used. Haven’t decided to return it yet. I’m not sure I want to continue breaking the block. First machine where the ice doesn’t break up into cubes easily
