Picked this up for some volunteer work I do, where not every site has a hand truck for moving donation boxes. Fits in the back of my Forester just fine, lengthwise or sideways, without needing to fold the seats down. You do give up some horizontal capacity when using it as a dolly, but the compact size and versatility more than make up for it. It fills the role of two items and is easy to navigate through tight hallways and when loading or unloading. Build quality feels solid. Nothing rattles, and it’s simple to convert between hand truck, dolly, and folded storage. Everything I expect from this brand: good items at a good price point.

I would give 4.75. I really like this. It’s extremely useful and I use it all the time on my moves. I just wish it was a little bit more sturdy when it comes to the safety lock mechanism. Overall, really good.

It’s difficult to pull or push once my equipment, which weighs about 75-80 lbs, is on it. The back wheels don’t always move in the right direction, so you have to keep adjusting the direction to get them aligned with the front wheels. Also, when used as a hand truck, the handle is kind of short and there’s a part of it that sticks out from the back under the handle that, if you’re pulling it behind you, will hit your ankle. So I have to walk next to it to avoid that. On the positive side, I love how it folds up small enough to place it longways in the back of my SUV with my equipment next to it, and I am very happy with the weight of it.

Very poorly manufactured product. The axel didn’t fit through the support plate so I had to spend 10 minutes hand filing the hole. Additional, the handle bolt holes were no where close to lining up and the assembly isn’t adjustable so I had to drill four new holes. There are three assembly steps and two were entirely mismachined.
