This thing has saved so many hours.. it’s not perfect but for the price go for it. The cable frayed slightly in one spot for us, and the wireless remote is iffy sometimes. Also it doesn’t like lowering unless there is weight, not a big deal. Sometimes the cable gets wonky on the spool. I think cake wire rope is too stiff, could have been better type. Also the weight limit pulling power seems the wire rope is far oversized We were using this to clean up a slope of debris and lifting construction materials between floors that had no stairs. On our first use, lifting only 300lbs, the cable absolutely unraveled! At first it simply started to overheat, which is understandable, but when the cable fails? That is something that we can't have when employee safety is at risk! Then, when I contacted Vevor about their warranty, I have faced nothing but opposition. First they wanted to send me a cable to replace it myself. If the first cable didn't last, why would we trust the second-and load it ourselves? Next, they wanted to give us $72. If you are interested, I would suggest anything else. The product is a safety risk, and the warranty doesn't exist.

I bought 3 of these for some sign work but they only got one job done and are not reusable. Used them indoor and with only 1/2 the weight of its capacity. The problem is that they don’t have variable speed and it’s either all or nothing which did not serve us well.

Bought one as "used" in original packaging etc. It did not work. Found some small parts in the box. took the covers off and found the cap was off of one of the motor brushes. Put it back on. Runs good. It is mounted in a small space. It is loud. The noise seems to be related the the gear reduction. If noise is not a problem for you, it is OK.
