Excellent product, great price and just what I needed for my basement workshop. Changing heavy accessories on my Shopsmith is extremely difficult at 83 years old. Installed this on a low ceiling between the joists fit the bill. Used the hoist to pull itself up to the brace and it worked like a charm. All I had to do was substitute "Eye-bolts" for the brackets, slide in 2 pieces of conduit and I was home free! ... show more

This electric lift seems to be of good quality. It is a pretty heavy unit and most likely you will need two people to put it up unless you get creative. Mine was missing the short lifting strap in the box but everything else was in order. I’ve not really used it yet except for the initial set up. Remember that the weight it shows that it will pick up is when you double the cable. Otherwise it is just half that weight. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Winch works great and feels very heavy duty. Advertised to lift 220 pounds straight up but it lifted my father in law (250 pounds) off the ground with ease. Not sure the limits but it works great for hanging deer

I have to say I was excited to get this and disappointed it showed up damaged and missing parts. Sure who would be at fault. I had to send it back and waiting for a new one hopefully in better condition.
