I got this to learn to weld after watching a few YouTube videos that reviewed this highly for the low price. I've used it a few times and am very happy with it's value. To be clear, this is a low-power welder that can only go up to 1/4" steel and based on the various plastic parts, doesn't look like it will last very long in a professional setting. But I'm just using it for small projects and to fix broken things. So I give this unit top marks given its performance and price tag. The one warning I will give though is to immediately discard the provided glasses. I had them in my hoody pocket because I was wearing a normal welding mask and didn't realize the lenses are made with actual glass. I leaned up against my table and must have crushed the glasses. Later I reached into my pocket and pulled out a bloody hand but am grateful those things were never close to my eyes. Seriously they mind as well just not include them in the package, they're quite dangerous. Definitely recommend this unit. The glasses are dangerous and the manual is useless, but if you have a rough idea what you're doing and have your own welding mask, you'll be good to go.

I have owned several inexpensive welders, but this is my ***favorite***. I love it ! ! ! Learning something new every day. The only downside is the manual is pretty much worthless, making some of its very advanced features a little hard to learn. The worst is it lacks a setting/thickness guide and so it took a few hours to get acquainted. Still, it is such a wonderful machine I had to give it 5 stars. I have just finished a thin wall tubing project (something notoriously hard to weld) and it worked great!

I've only used the flux core function of the welder, but that definitely works great. The main thing that i don't like about this welder is that when it gets to cold, the welder doesn't like to feed wire. The wire gets stuck and no longer feeds correctly. But to be fair, nothing likes to work when it's -10° outside.

Love the product, even though not much of video tutorials. But I had seen some videos that are very informative, and operating this machine is a piece of cake. Accessories were great for an amateur like me and very useful. The most important point is, I had saved several thousands of dollars by welding exhaust pipes for my old vehicles.

I used the product to weld on hss tube as gasless flux this however proved difficult as the gun was shipped broken, the gun jammed and would not spool the wire through as the motor was not very strong in the machine. I tried to use it for stick welding but it had a hard time on max to even strike an arc when I did I could get a decent bead but very hard to control the arc and very easy to sputter out, very disappointed with the condition and usability of this machine as a welder who has used chicago electric, Lincoln and vulcan gasless welders this one doesn't hit the mark.

Purchased this little welder to replace my old Lincoln welder of almost 30 years that finally was not able to get fixed. Man I loved that machine, but now that I do not weld that much anymore, I decided to purchase a small portable welder for my home garage. Once I got the settings down for the stick and Mig portion, this little thing works like a charm. I have not tried the Tig portion as yet, but this welder does come with the MMA+MIG+TIG Stingers. on a scale of 1-10, I give the machine a 9 and the instructions a 3.

the description and specs are a bit off from the actual product as this multi process welder is not a mig but a flux core only wire feed. The tig lead has a hose without a regulator, meaning that you will need not only an argon bottle but a regulator and barbed fitting as well. I have used the wire feed function and it gives adequate penetration and fills well, but as is the case with any flux core wire it leaves a mess to clean up after. In conclusion, this is a great low price welder with a small footprint that will work great for exhaust, body, and light structural welding but it is not a mig.
