My 9 year old grandson loves ramen noodles for a snack after school. Without having to depend on an adult to boil the water and cook the noodles, he can prepare it himself with this neat little microwave bowl. He puts in the noodles, then adds water to the full line, and cooks in the microwave for 5 minutes. All he has to after the noodles have cooked is lift up the strainer section and dump the noodles in the provided bowl. He is really enjoying his independence in the kitchen! ... show more

After 3 attempts at cooking ramen in this noodle cooking kit, my grandson finally got it right. He was disappointed that there were no instructions in English (instructions were in Chinese on the outside of the box). But after figuring out the process, he loved the results!

My son loves ramen noodles but is not aloud to use the stove. This bowl is great. it allows him to make them on his own using the microwave. Water does boil over out of it but that might just be us putting too much water in it. The package didn't have any instructions so we were just winging it.
