There's no way in hell the ice bin in this machine holds 44 pounds of ice as it says it does. By my calculation, I'd say the bin holds 20-25 pounds of ice MAX. I do believe if you're rotating the ice out when the bin is full that it is capable of producing 150 pounds in a 24 hour period though. I found this for my employer (a 50 person occupancy diner) as they didn't want to pay $1300+ for a "real" machine. It's been able to keep up with our degree of business even on the out straight busiest days. If you leave it full of ice, the light meant to keep the ice fresh starts to melt the ice on top so you get water build up on the edge of the lid. The screen on the right bottom side is constantly pushing itself out of it's slot for some reason. It's a little difficult to get ice out of the machine without dropping some on the floor in the process. Great cost to benefit ratio. Quality product. Unbeatable price. Just doesn't hold the amount of ice it says it does.

I just received and opened the box and I must say I am very impressed with the packaging. I bought this to replace a higher end Scottsman commercial unit that has given me problems the entire time I have owned it. Scottsman did not stand behind their product, so after that experience I am taking a chance on this company / product. The only thing I wish it had was a place to hold the ice scoop inside the ice bay. The blue light is a very nice touch. I like that the controls are not behind a panel and that the filter is easy to get to and clean. If I don't post a followup know that this little machine is doing its job and we are happy.

bin may hold 44 lbs but doesn't due to design flaw. when the ice drops after the machine bin is not even half full the large square ice blocks hang on the flapper and then the machine stops. we have been using for a week and never get more than 20 lbs (2 ten lb bags) at a time. it does produce the poundage but not storage. ice on thickest setting just doesn't work well. if you thin it out it drops better in actual cubes but not much. ok for small amounts but not mass production if thats what you need. i like the cube size. but this machine puts out big blocks which stinks not so much cubes. i think its now overpriced for the bin issue. only 3 stars, I am selling this machine for a family to use..... its not commercial. I picked up a used ice o matic today for good price instead. if you need this for a biz, I wouldn't buy again or recommend.

When I receive the machine got everything hooked up the pump on the inside will not spray the water over the grid trying to get a hold of somebody to help troubleshoot it and cannotI would like some answers So right now my review is not very good. Received a new pump put on now making ice but they say the bin holes 40 some pounds and I get a little bit over a 10 pound bag and that is all it holds. Not very happy 😠

This is not my first ice machine. Overall, I am impressed with the design. The machine is relatively quiet compared to some others. It makes good ice and is easy to set up. My machine arrived on time as expected. The packaging was well done. It was as easy to setup as an ice machine can be. Just hook up the water, drain, and plug it in, and it works. Its that easy. Everything needed was included in the packaging, including a drain pump and water filter.

This thing started out with a noisy fan they had me pull the back off to see if rubbing on waterline IT WAS NOT then it started spitting water out on the the floor they sent me a video on how to clean out the jets (pain in the ass) I have now unplugged it and shut the water off literally like 3 months of use I recommend Scottsman or buy bagged ice but stay away from this pile of ===

Stopped working after 3 months and two weeks. Seller has been a great help but doesn't cover for the frustration and now loss of money. Don't buy any icemaker from on-line. Spend a few dollars and buy a quality machine locally to you. That way you have some where you can go back to.
