Have a family of four and recently we have been struggling with running out of ice because our fridge can’t really keep up sometimes. I’ve been researching them for a while and decided to buy this one. My machine has a small dent, but it was on the back and I don’t really care cause you can’t see it. I was missing the accessories for like the drain hose, but I did receive the scoop the water supply line filter so far. I’ve had it running for a few weeks and it has been very solid. The ice bin only holds enough for a small cooler to be filled up however, it creates ice so fast that you could probably fill up a larger one within a few hours. I’ve been letting it run 24 /7 under a covered porch. The ice default setting is a little bit thin for my liking and melts fast. I increased the time and it helped out a lot. Before installing, I made sure to run a couple gallons of water through the line to clear out any junk in the filter I also cleaned the ice bin with soapy water and have had no issues with any odd taste. It actually taste better than the ice from my fridge. My regret now is that I wish I would’ve gotten a bigger one with a slightly larger ice bin. This never worked well. Always jammed up when ice fell. Always stopped working. Never got a full basket. Horrible ice makers. I'd give it a zero if I could.

It does the job of making ice. However it does not make the little cubes like it described. They come out in sheets and you have to bust it up into the little cubes. Also, once it's full it does not keep the ice cold or frozen, it starts to melt immediately upon becoming full. So, bag your ice asap.

The media could not be loaded. One of the best Amazon purchases I've ever made. I've been wanting an ice maker for a few years now. I finally decided to pull the trigger on this. I'm already familiar with the Vevor brand as I have several of their appliances already. The ice maker is great. If I'm having a party or if I just need ice, I put it on and within an hour or so, the storage bin is full. I bought some 8 lb ice bag so I can keep 3-4 bags in the garage freezer for the ready at all times. Hook up was very easy. I purches some water line, fittings and a water filter (all available on Amazon) and ran the line into my garage. I have a stucco garage, so the hardest part was drilling the water line hole and drain hole. But with the proper tools, it really wasn't too bad. Overall, this was a win for me. I'll never have to go run and get ice again. 100% worth it!
