First impressions of this unit are pretty decent. Vetroo has never failed to impress me, so I had high hopes for this PSU. The presentation is pretty good all things considered. The power supply itself comes in a black pouch and the cables are in their own box. The modular cables are all tied with Velcro straps, so the extra cable management is greatly appreciated. Though, Vetroo does bundle in some bigger Velcro straps. Installation is about what you'd expect of a computer power supply. You install the cables you want, screw it into the case, I won't bore you with the age old process. Though, it's worth pointing out that this PSU has built-in PCI-E 5.0 cables which is very nice to see, especially at this price point. I'm currently not at max capacity of this unit with the system I'm using this with, but this is great as I have plenty of headroom for upgrading to beefier components. At any rate, it does a splendid job of powering my system. When it comes to sound levels, this is honestly where this unit falls short. I do not have the knowhow nor resources to determine the quality of what's inside this power supply, but whatever they're using, there's some coil whine. This isn't terribly uncommon, but in all my years of computer building, this is the first time I've had this issue with a power supply. The second the unit is fired up, there's a very faint amount of coil whine. The fan is also a little annoying, even at idle. I may need to experiment some more, but ECO mode doesn't seem to impact noise levels. This may be something that will go away with age, but something to keep in mind when getting this. Noise is tolerable however as I have hard drives and 5 case fans, though your mileage may vary. Overall, for the price, with the decent feature set and seemingly decent build-quality, if Vetroo honors their 10-year warranty, you honestly can't go wrong with this power supply. ... show more

This was installed to replace a BeQuiet! supply in a new build that failed after a couple of weeks of use. I wanted something that was fully modular and had PCIE 5.0, this had what I needed. Been a totally solid performer so far running benchmarks and many hour long gaming sessions. I only dropped a star because the stock fan is REALLY noisy unless you put it in eco mode. I would have returned it, but the eco mode made it quiet enough I can't hear it now. If this had a fan like the one the BeQuiet came with it would be 10/10 for price/performance. ... show more

Me decidí por esta unidad por su potencia, a un precio razonable y que incluye conectores para dispositivos PCI 5, que puedo adquirir en el futuro. Aspiro además actualizar la tarjeta grafica mas adelante, y necesitaba potencia y conectores adecuados. Ya en el pasado reciente, dañe una al tratar de instalar tarjeta grafica que los requería y mi fuente de poder no disponía de ellos. Aspiro a que este PC no requiera cambios durante los próximos diez años. Me desconcertó un poco que los cables no estuvieran protegidos por esa malla que tren otras unidades pero por otro lado me facilito la instalación y poder ordenarlos mejor. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. It works as expected I am a fan of vetroo, and after vetroo came out with this power supply, I got this to replace my aging 5 year old PSU. The power supply fan almost quiet all the time. Aesthetically pleasing and the colors match my case. I've only used it for less than a month now, I feel good. More thoughts: It's a Power supply, it is designed to do one thing, power your system and keep it safe. Choose high quality power to power your computer, because it is the core of your computer's operation. If you want to doing something over the top, I'd recommend this, 1000w is enough to meet your needs. I think the products of this brand are of good quality. ... show more
