I must say. I’m something of a mattress snob due to my poor back. This mattress boasted medium-firm and is spot on. I opened it and let it completely decompress over about 4 days. I recommend the same. It allows the hybrid coils to fully expand. This is one of the most comfortable mattresses I’ve ever purchased and at this price point it’s quite impressive. Now…it is on a wood slatted platform with a brand new box spring. Together they are doing a great job. I’ve only had it about a month so let’s see how long it stays solid and in full support (without the over time sagging etc)!

First let me say that I’ve purchased thousands of items off of Amazon. And while I’ve had a few bad experiences, overall it’s always been satisfactory. But THIS!?!?!!? There’s probably NO ONE that has purchased this that wanted it to be what it said it was, more than me. I’m disabled, have had 3 back surgeries, neck surgery (not even a year ago) and am headed toward knee surgery. This was a very important purchase for me. All I can say is there’s 100% NO WAY that I received the right mattress. (YES, I followed instructions to a “T”) within the first WEEK it was already sagging where you’d sit against the headboard. So I turned it around. Now it’s even worse at the other end. It has physically impacted me so badly that now I can barely get out of bed. I already gave my other mattress away so I has no recourse until I’m able to save for another purchase. But this thing? Paper thin, you slide right off if you try to sit on the side & mostly, it is NOT medium/firm. It’s like sitting on a soft, sunken pillow & you dip so far down you can barely get up/out. If you ever heed a review, I hope you do mine. Because this thing is the most deceptive purchase I’ve ever made. And I’m out the money AND worse, my neck/back are killing me. 💔😰 VERY unhappy and pretty angry. (oh in case you’re wondering I weigh 122 lb & I’m 5”3’) Update: just so you’re aware of the scam this is..after my review, they contacted me. Informed me that if I wanted it to be “firm” I should have ordered the 10”! Uhm…NOT what the ad says. DO. NOT. BUY. FROM. THEM. They do NOT stand by their product or word. Just tried to make it MY fault that I ordered the wrong size! I’d say unbelievable but in this day & age, it’s to be expected unfortunately.

My daughter had a back operation and need a firm mattress so a friend suggested this model. Arrived packages well compressed and it took overnight for it to decompress. Fit the bed perfectly, was firm but not rock hard. It had no smell. it is not the lightest to move around so have a helper to set it ip. There is no assembly other than cutting open th eplastic packing it comes in and letting it decompress. She said sleeping on it is perfect for her back. so we are happy with it
