I'm glad I got the version with the dual ammo caddies instead of the single long one. I can carry two kinds of loose ammo if necessary without them mixing. This bag is discrete which honestly only matters when you're carrying it. You're less likely to attract liberal attention and that's what's actually important because they'll call the police on you if you're carrying an obvious firearm bag. It also helps prevent people noticing and casing your home. But if you leave a bag in your vehicle and you're in an urban area or somewhere frequented by drug addicts it'll get stolen eventually. You can pretend car prowlers don't carry cutting tools if you want but leaving guns in your cab is foolish period. I was shopping for a range bag that was compact, but could competently carry two 9mm pistols, ammo, accessories, and keep my glasses and ears from getting crushed. I came across the COF Light and initially the price turned me off but as an Amazon Prime member I could simply return it for free if I didn't like it. When I opened the package I really liked the size, look, the feel of the material, and the design was exactly what I was looking for. The top compartment is separated from the bottom by had plastic so I can load the bottom with ammo and not worry about it causing my glasses and ears. It actually has more space than I need, but its size is still great and compact for easy carry. The styling looks like any business or travel bag, no loud stickers or wording that scream gun bag LOL It does have a velcro strip on the front for badges etc, I haven't added any. If your in the market for a high quality compact range bag, give this one a try. ... show more

The bag is super well made. just fits my ears and eye protection in the top, one pistol, and the pull-out ammo bin is what sold me. Makes it easy to carry it to the table and the range. I do wish it was slightly bigger, but it works. So 5-stars for doing what is was supposed to do and doing it well.

Vertx makes some of, if not the best bags I ever used. from the duffels, sling packs and now this range bag. I love the ability to have access to the ammo in the base without removing all the other equipment. It is a little smaller then other range bags I used but that makes it so I have to be more selective on the equipment. Great padding throughout the bag and like all their other products great craftmanship and materials. The one thing I love of Vertx is the low profile they always have. This is one of those products you order and it’s on the high price tag range and you give it a chance and when you open the box it has the wow factor. Pictures do not do it justice. Extremely well made and looks great. It is what it is a small range bag. But it does and excellent job in utilizing its space. Great features for a bag of any size. You will not be disappointed.
