I'm glad I got the version with the dual ammo caddies instead of the single long one. I can carry two kinds of loose ammo if necessary without them mixing. This bag is discrete which honestly only matters when you're carrying it. You're less likely to attract liberal attention and that's what's actually important because they'll call the police on you if you're carrying an obvious firearm bag. It also helps prevent people noticing and casing your home. But if you leave a bag in your vehicle and you're in an urban area or somewhere frequented by drug addicts it'll get stolen eventually. You can pretend car prowlers don't carry cutting tools if you want but leaving guns in your cab is foolish period. I was shopping for a range bag that was compact, but could competently carry two 9mm pistols, ammo, accessories, and keep my glasses and ears from getting crushed. I came across the COF Light and initially the price turned me off but as an Amazon Prime member I could simply return it for free if I didn't like it. When I opened the package I really liked the size, look, the feel of the material, and the design was exactly what I was looking for. The top compartment is separated from the bottom by had plastic so I can load the bottom with ammo and not worry about it causing my glasses and ears. It actually has more space than I need, but its size is still great and compact for easy carry. The styling looks like any business or travel bag, no loud stickers or wording that scream gun bag LOL It does have a velcro strip on the front for badges etc, I haven't added any. If your in the market for a high quality compact range bag, give this one a try. ... show more

Love the bullet drawers, absolutely best part about it. It makes the top just shallow enough for my 3-4 sets of electronic ears, shot timer, blue gun, mags, and some random things. Not too deep where you have to dig to find stuff. The mag carrier is legit. It’s tough because I have some weight in there for sure. Everyone loves it at the range and during classes. Especially since we don’t handle guns behind the line, we can take the two bullet drawers and place guns in them and move them around. Don’t hesitate if you need a good sized range bag. It’s not huge but it fits a lot of stuff and it’s organized. Fits in the back seat of my 2020 f150 with two car seats still in the back. ... show more

The bag is super well made. just fits my ears and eye protection in the top, one pistol, and the pull-out ammo bin is what sold me. Makes it easy to carry it to the table and the range. I do wish it was slightly bigger, but it works. So 5-stars for doing what is was supposed to do and doing it well.

High quality bag, accommodates a long day at the range no problem. After a few months of use my only complaint is the shoulder strap. I can get this thing to well over 100 lbs with both bins full of rounds and the strap is not very comfortable. From the truck to the range it's fine, but I sure wouldn't carry this way the whole day. I had a weird issue with a sewing error (zippers were sewn shut on two pockets with no pulls included). Vertx support was super helpful and amazon took care of the swap no problem. ... show more

The Light Vertx bag appeared to be built well and the outside material felt very durable. The problem was not with the bag but for me it was too small and so I returned to order the large Vertx range bag. The large bag came and there were no inner packaging and now Vertx tags on the bag and it was wet. The size was perfect but I was not going to accept someone else's return as well as the carrier must have moved it from the original Amazon carton and repacked it poorly. The box it did arrive in was new, not wet and as previously stated I liked the bag. This second issue caused me to request my refund and go elsewhere as I didn't want to take the chance on getting some bag previously purchased since this was to be a Christmas gift. ... show more

This is one of those products you order and it’s on the high price tag range and you give it a chance and when you open the box it has the wow factor. Pictures do not do it justice. Extremely well made and looks great. It is what it is a small range bag. But it does and excellent job in utilizing its space. Great features for a bag of any size. You will not be disappointed.
