Versaink MICR Black pigment ink, containing magnetic nanoparticles (50nm) for magnetic content scanning, extreme light and water fastness, rich optical density and ever-lasting document integrity. Indefinitely stable (no agitation required), water-based, eco-friendly (Ames negative) and compatible with a variety of porous and non-porous paper and non-paper substrates. Applications include magnetic tagging of substrates, printing of money orders, checks and magnetically scanning content such as barcodes and patterns. To ensure magnetic signal strength for check scanning, please be sure to purge all non- MICR ink from your cartridge or ink tank before filling with MICR ink. If any non-MICR ink remains, you can print a solid black page and print until MICR signal strength is reaches accurate scan levels.
