The product never worked! I spent many hours with expert tech advisers from Verizon and Comcast/Xfinity but neither could make it functional! They made me get a new router from Xfinity, because they said it was not compatible with the expensive Netgear router I was using. That didn’t work either! Oh my goodness I was skeptical. I only had one bar or zero bars in my house. I have been having problems with my phone, not ringing people can only message me via text. It’s been a mess! I installed this in boom! Four bars no missed calls. It was the best investment I’ve ever made!

Very easy installation process. Just need to find a place that is near by a window with a clear view of the sky for the 911 emergency call GPS/Sattlite antenna and near by a working ethernet network port. Fortunately, there is one place in my house that meets all of the requirements above. It does not require any setup on the software side. Just give it 5-10 minutes and then it will setup on its own. After every is done, it boots up my 4G LTE signal to full bars, where previously 1 to 0 bar. The reasons I give it a 3 stars because I don't see the needs of this device. Sine most of the smartphone, nowadays, supports Wi-Fi calling. This extenter needs to be connected to your own landlines internet service provider in order to boost the Verizon signal. It does not capture the signal that is outside of your house and boots it. If your internet is down, your 4G LTE signal will down also, but the backup GPS/Sattlite antenna for emergency calls would kick in. Also, the item title is misleading. It is only a 4G LTE extenter, NOT 5G. Yes, it will works with your 5G phones but this extenter only broadcasting in 4G LTE signals. I think it is a good backup to have incase of emergency, other than that, I don't see the point of having this device. ... show more

    • Outstanding Unit and Easy to Install
Until I bought this extender, I had constant problems with my cell phone reception . My phone calls were frequently dropped and many times never received. I was forced oftentimes to make or maintain my cell phone calls outside so the conversation would not be interrupted. My signal strength at home never went above one bar. I tried other signal boosters to Improve reception but nothing worked. I bought this device upon the recommendation of my nephew who had similar issues with his cellular service. I was reluctant to buy it because of the complexity of installation and the mind numbing frustration that goes along with it. Yet I can tell you that this was easiest technological installation that I have ever attempted and this is coming from a guy who is not a computer whiz. The whole process took me less than fifteen minutes and my reception is now flawless. Also, it has never gone below four bars when it previously never went above one. I have Verizon as my cell phone carrier so I cannot comment as to how this unit would work with other providers. This is useless tool. I have terrible cell service in my area - usually one bar - so I ordered this to help, even though it was pretty pricey. It worked for like a day, and then it kept getting stuck mid process and didn't help my service at all. I searched for help from Verizon, and shared the frustration of many that they had no solution. I tried to return it to Amazon, but I missed the return window, they said to contact Verizon, which I already did. Now I have a $200 piece of plastic that does me no good, plus I still have a phone that doesn't work at my house. ... show more

    • We have 4 bars!!
I live in the country with no cell reception without a network extender. My old one is 3G so I had to upgrade before 2023. After looking for weeks for an affordable option, I found this. It was easy to set up but got errors trying to connect. Called my internet provider but they couldn’t/didn’t know how to help. Called Verizon tech support and had a nice chat with Aaron who helped me through the 2 error codes I was receiving. I used to get 2 bars is service at home but now I get 4! Calls don’t drop like they did before and texts come through quickly. It works great! I did have to extend the antenna to get a GPS lock but well worth it. I’m super pleased with my purchase.
