    • Beware! Cannot be used unless activated on Verizon
Beware! Minus points: This phone cannot be used on WiFi without purchasing a month of service which the minimum is $45 and funds don’t roll over to the next month so unused funds disappear. They also won’t unlock it without 365 consecutive days of service if you want to eventually unlock it (You’ll end up paying about $600. $540 for 12 months of service and $60 for the phone itself) They used to unlock them after 60 days. (Almost all carriers do this 365 day minimum now with prepaid phone plans since January of 2026) I wanted to just use WiFi for this phone and install an eSIM for travel but it has to be unlocked first. I may have missed it in the fine print but when I got the phone this is on the box. “Wi-Fi is not available until the device is activated on the Verizon network” I found it much cheaper in the long run to just buy an “excellent condition” (per Amazon listing) refurbished unlocked phone (Basically the same Motorola phone for $116) Plus point: I do like the hardware of this phone. I was skeptical about the fingerprint unlock but it is basically on the power button itself and you just rest your finger on the button and it unlocks pretty easily. ... show more

As a cell phone user out of necessity I use my phone for calling and texting. I know my phone will do significantly more functions however I don't use them. It does a fantastic job of making and receiving phone calls and associated texting. The battery time is very good and physical size is good for larger icons. ... show more

The device is fine I'm sure. I am only writing this to correct info from Rufus and the Internet. This phone will not work with Safelink sim cards. This is new on Verizon prepaid phones.
