I got this on sale for 30% off so I did not pay full price. I am a bargain shopper, so if you’re like me, keep an eye on it and wait for the price to be lowered. When I open the package, the mustard yellow did have a slight green hue to it. But when it’s in the sunlight, it does look like the picture I posted next to the boat with the window behind it. In the dark, it takes on a slightly different hue, and I posted that picture too, and you can see it in the pic I took of it hanging in my closet. Saying that, it’s BIG and as large as you would need it to be for a vacation getaway or weekend. Its SUPER SILKY SOFT, just like I had hoped and it has convenient large pockets. I love this thing!! But I would never pay $100 though. Just sayin. $70 is my top number. I will keep an eye out for one or two additions, like a makeup bag etc, either in this color or coordinating pattern. I will find them on sale.

Only thing l will order the shoulder strap cause it helps you tote the bag easier on those long trips through the airport! Definitely will order again! The Vera Bradley Women's Nylon Large Original Duffel is nice, but NOT $100 nice. You get a nondescript exterior, with a really cool liner fabric. Material quality and workmanship are decent, but the price is still an issue. The bag is big and doesn't feel cheap, but the execution feels like it should be in the $50-75 range. The squared-off design is pretty cool.

Calling this a duffel bag seems wrong...it's such a classy design. The fabric is sturdy and easy to wipe down (I've other Vera Bradley out of the same stuff). I was worried that the inside would be dark and then I'd never find my things but the inside is classic Vera Bradley, brightly colored and cheerful. I love when something is sedate on the outside and fun on the inside! It makes me feel like I'm wearing sparkly undies or something, lol. I got this to have something professional looking for overnight work trips. I hate showing up at the hotel and having all these fancy people with fancy bags and I feel silly with my old backpack or my worn out Vera Bradley bag. This one definitely counts as professional...while still being my favorite bag company! If you're looking at getting this bag, you probably already know what to expect from Vera Bradley. It's all here. Really sturdy design. I have a couple Vera Bradley bags I got 20 years ago and they look a bit rough but are still just as functional as ever. The pockets are nice and large to hold everything.

I've always wanted a Vera Bradley duffel bag but thought that their usual cotton fabric might not hold up to the abuse a duffel bag would get, specifically the bottom of the bag. So I was happy to see that this duffel is made of nylon, which I think will hold up better (not ripstop nylon, though). It feels surprisingly soft and a little puffy, which is new to me. The quilting isn't as close together as on their other (cotton) bags. "Moonless Night" is basic black. There are 3 slip pockets inside, of a stretchy material, on one side of the bag only. The lining is kind of a mod print, looks like the 60s or 70s, and very busy. For a lining, I don't mind a busy print, though I wish this was a little bit lighter in color since it's inside a dark bag. (Some of VB's patterns can be so busy as to be overwhelming, to me anyway.) The pockets on each end cinch up with a button drawstring and have the same colorful lining on one side. Handy pocket on the front. Very lightweight and not much structure. I think it's at the max limit for carry-on size, but it depends on if you can restrain yourself from packing too much. Being so soft, if you overpack you might exceed the size limit. A great weekend bag.

This item is a large weekender dufflebag from Vera Bradley. It's completely black in color and made primarily from a nylon material. This is an original Vera Bradley bag and maintains the same level of quality as all of my wife's other VB bags. It's large in size and easily holds a full weekend's worth of clothes / shoes. There are pockets on both the inside and outside of the bag. They are relatively large and assist in making the packing process easy with plenty of storage. As mentioned, it's a sleek black color with a very nice quilt-style stitching similar to other Vera Bradley bags making it very nice to the touch. The handles are well sewn and long making it simple to carry. Overall, my wife really likes this bag and has used it on a couple of girl trips with plenty of compliments on it's look and versatility. She'd definitely recommend it.
