I love Vera Bradley bags, particularly the Small Vera Tote, which is my go-to purse. They're well-designed and the perfect size. I have one in black for everyday, and two in patterns that I've bought over the years. There's so much I love about these purses: the firm base (no sagging!), the zipper that keeps everything inside, the handles that are just the right length for me, and the SIX interior pockets that help keep my items organized. The fact that I can own the same purse in different patterns means that I can use the same organizing system when I switch purses, so I always know which pockets hold my hand sanitizer, sunglasses, hand lotion, phone, and so on. There's plenty of room in the center for my wallet, a pencil pouch, and another small zipper pouch with a few necessary items. I can even add my Kindle, a small knitting project, and a small water bottle, though it gets a bit snug and heavy with all of those! This one is beautiful, a soft coral pink which goes with almost all my summer clothes. Based on the durability of my older Vera Bradley bags, I'll be using it for years to come. They do wear out eventually (particularly the fabric handles), but they hold up remarkably well. ... show more

This purse is red. It also has about 5 interior pockets. I have carried it for a whole year. It is still bright red and holds everything i need when away from home for the day. I am a fan. I may buy another one in a different color.

I really love this small tote bag. It is a great size and has lots of internal pockets for organization. I love that it also zips closed. The Garden Green Leaf is really pretty and the inside fabric is really nice looking. I included a couple pictures with other bags. One with the large tote (forever green) and the "original small tote" bag (peacoat). And another with just the "original small tote" bag (peacoat). I believe that this is a nicer bag with more organization than the new "original small tote" bags, but I also think the new original small tote bags are super cute and fun to carry. So choosing between the two depends on if you want more organization (this one) or less organization but just like the colors and vibe of the original small tote bag. I prefer the Purple Rhapsody color in the original small tote bag over the Peacoat but both are really nice. ... show more

So to be honest, I was a little skeptical about buying a Vera Bradley purse on Amazon (I've never done that before, I have always ordered from the site or gotten them in stores), and after some of the reviews it made me nervous. I decided to go ahead and order a few Vera things from Amazon. I always wanted to order a small Vera tote, and I decided to bite the bullet and order one. I just received it in the mail today, and all I can say is it's GORGEOUS. I am in love with it. The pattern is vibrant, and I feel like it can be used year round because of the gray in the background despite the flowers all over. The size is perfect! I've owned multiple Vera bags in my life, and this looks/feels authentic. I haven't used it yet, so if anything happens I will update this review. However, I'm very happy I got this! The ONLY con is when you get it, the cardboard on the bottom on the bag gets bent just by the way they send it. So I currently have it sitting down with two Bath & Body Works candles in it to help flatten the bottom. Other than that, I'm so excited to use this! UPDATE 2/28/21: I looked at my bag yesterday, and found that the straps had an almost tear like feature on them, and some of the string was pulled in the front. Now, I did return it and I'm ordering another one. I'm trying it one more time. If it's the same, I of course will return it, and be on the look out for this bag from an online buyer site (Poshmark, Mercari, etc) or try to outlet near me to see if they have it. I love the size of the bag and the pattern too much to give up on it. Fingers crossed the next one (arriving tomorrow) is in better condition. UPDATE 3/1/21: I got the new Vera, and it's perfect! Nothing wrong with this one. No rips or tears on the straps. So happy! Came with tags as well. ... show more

I'm keeping the bag because I like the pattern, price was great and bag is good enough. That said Vera bags are usually better than good. Always a top quality product. Another reviewer mentioned that the bottom doesn't lay as flat as in the older models of the Vera Tote and it is true. The price was a lot lower than on the VB website so I am wondering if this is a factory second or what? The interior seems to be polyester instead of cotton but that might be a plus. Easier to wipe up any spills inside the bag rather than have to wash the whole thing. I like the size, not too big cause I tend to overpack if given the room and yet it is roomy enough for what I actually need. Loads of interior pockets for organizing my stuff. Front zip pocket will hold keys, a lipstick or maybe a card case but not a full size wallet. Front slip pocket would hold coupons or just the little odds and ends you pick up during the day and have to stuff somewhere. The back slip pocket is the right size for holding a phone. I like the way the back slip pocket is designed. Almost a hidden pocket. I would give 5 stars except for the bottom issue. Like all Vera bags it holds a lot more than it looks like it should hold and it's lightweight and easy to carry. ... show more

The perfect work bag or carry on bag! I’m using mine for work and it’s perfect. Six pockets on the inside and two on the outside! There’s also a hidden pocket on the top of the bag. I love how long the straps are! I love this brand! Super cute patterns!

I have wanted to Vera Bradley for a LONG time but finances made it out of reach. Thankfully things improved and I bought this bag. It surpassed my expectations on all levels. It is much more than I thought. The material is higher quality and beefier than I thought, wonderful inner and outer pockets, the lining is cute and it feels thicker. I am glad I purchased this style too. Not too big, or small. I plan on purchasing the accompanying items like wallet, makeup bag...I also plan on buying other styles and patterns...this purchase has made be a collector. If you're on the fence just go for it you'll be pleasantly surprised if you're a first time Vera buyer. ... show more
