I ordered this purse for travel because it weighs very little, and it has two easy to access compartments (magnetic closures) as well as a zipper area. It has two outside pockets which I didn’t use very often mainly because the magnetic pockets were so easy to use. It served me very well!😊

I am a bookworm and I have a lot of accessories that go with my reading -- Kindle, reading glasses, bookmarks, clip on reading light, charger, hardcover books from the library, etc. Every night when I go to from the livingroom to the bedroom, my hands are so full trying to juggle all of this stuff that I inevitably drop something on the way or I forget it altogether. Then once I'm all settled into bed I have to get up and wake up the dog and my husband, etc., to go get the thing I forgot. No more! From now on this bag is going to travel with me wherever I plan to read. It holds everything and then some. I love the triple compartments -- my hard copy book goes in the sturdy middle section. My Kindle goes in the outer pocket. My little zipper bag of chargers and bookmarks goes in another pocket. My reading glasses have their own separate nook. There's even room for my iPhone. Everything easily stays together with magnet closures. No more digging into a random tote bag that's a big, jumbled mess. I bought this in a semi-neutral color scheme, the black and white bandana paisley pattern, and I am going to be decorating it with seasonal purse charms such as maple leafs for fall, candy canes for Christmas or hearts for Valentine season. This is my first Vera Bradley bag and I'm very impressed with the sturdiness and quality. I bought this as "used/good condition" for less than half price and it arrived in flawless condition with the tags still attached. This particular Vera Bradley style is perfect if you have a lot of odds and ends that you want to keep organized. Highly recommend and just love it! ... show more

This is the first VB multi-compartment shoulder bag I've bought. The medium purse size and shoulder-strap length are good. The center zip compartment is perfect for my Tintamar purse pouch, and the outside slip pockets and magnetic closures are handy. . . . One of the outside slip pockets is narrower than the other, barely wide enough to fit one's hand inside. It could be narrow to keep a water bottle upright; I will use it for my cell phone. The inside compartments are roomy and the bag is functional. I could have wished for more inside pockets (there is only one zip pocket inside) and a hidden outside zip (as in the Glenna Satchel), which I would have used for keys. There is a wide range of fabric prints or solid colors to choose from, making one's own bag feel more personal. The empty bag is lightweight, so most weight that I carry will be from the contents I add. I look forward to enjoying mine this summer. . . . ... show more
