I’m so glad I got this. It is very handy for storing my hair iron under the sink without the cord hanging everywhere. However, the main benefit is it keeps my chi hair iron warm while doing my hair in between pieces. My iron came with a stand that always fell over. My first Vera Bradley flat iron holder did not have a pocket on the front (for cord) but it still held the product (cord too) comfortably. In spite of the front pocket, it’s a bit of a struggle to fit the iron in the heat protected sleeve and the cord into the front pocket. It looks like a stuffed pig. But works. ... show more

This will do the job of protecting me or other objects from getting burned from my flat iron or curling iron. The first one I bought from Vera was bigger, it held my curling iron, the cord, a hairbrush, comb, and a full can of hairspray. This one holds the flat iron and cord a comb and barely my hairbrush. I hope she returns to the original size, it really was easy to pack my hair essentials in one convenient pouch while protecting everything from a hot curling iron.
