This is a really big purse, tote! If you want an everyday purse that carries everything, laptop water bottle lunch for four, lol, this is your purse/tote. If you want something to just throw your wallet in car keys everyday stuff then this is way big. Pros; this is a really pretty pattern for this tote. The pattern looks like a Monet painting. It's very lightweight which was important to me because I have two torn rotator cuffs and muscle tears in my shoulders that need to be fixed. Very easy to get things in and out of. If the bag gets dirty I can put it in the washing machine wash on gentle with woolite, a real plus. They're really aren't any cons about this purse/tote unless you're concerned about the large. I'm keeping it because it's lightweight, beautiful, and will carry everything if I need to fill it up for some reason. I really like this Vera Bradley creation. ... show more

I have impulse buying issues with Vera bags. I love cotton fabrics with fun prints, and that is Vera’s sweet spot. I thought I was getting the same size tote that I have in two other fabrics, but this is a substantially larger bag. I love the fun, bold color and print. As always, my least favorite thing about this tote is a total lack of structure. There really needs to be a rigid insert in the bottom to make this useful. I will be making my own (as usual). For the high price of a vera bag, I feel they should include said support in all of their bags so they aren’t floppy messes ... show more

This bag looks better in person than in the listing photos. It is really soft, but the seams are well-sewn. It is a very good size and can fit a lot of things. There are adequate pockets inside and out. The outside pocket is large enough to fit a water bottle or 20 20-ounce tumbler. I don't think it was intended for that because it has a zipper, but it works. It's lightweight, yet durable. The zippers work well. Got this to use as a diaper bag/ carryall-- I wasn't crazy about the tomato red coloring but figured for a diaper bag it would work. Well in person it's much more muted and elegant looking, so yay! The edges are really well sewn, it's thickly lined, it's all cotton (so washable), and the zippers will live longer than me.
