This bag is going to be perfect for an upcoming trip. I travel with my dog and he becomes my carryon, which means I can then carry one other piece, and this is going to be it. Roomy compartments, elasticized inner pockets, wide bottom, and carry straps long enough for me, but may be short on a taller person than my 5'1" body. I find the trolley strap a bit odd, but since I'm not going to use it, I guess it doesn't matter. There is an external zippered pocket and inside is an adjustable strap (like a webbed belt with a buckle) that you can pull out to wrap around your wheeled suitcase handle. I like that there is an external pocket (where the belt is stored) with a zipper, and that is where I will store my phone. I'll take off the buckle, or maybe snip out the entire strap if it turns out to be a problem. The zippers all have VB fabric pulls, with raw edges. I'll use some Fray Check on those raw edges because I am obsessive about such things. Who else keeps a bottle of Fray Check at home at all times?! This bag is sturdy, fashionable, and won't be mistaken for another person's carry-on in an overhead luggage compartment. Being quilted fabric means it is lightweight, which is good because I suspect my contents will be heavy enough. Definitely a recommend it you need a roomy overnight bag. Price is in line with Vera Bradley products. Honestly, I would give this a 4.5 because of the trolly strap, but since I won't use it, I decided to round up. (Plus there's no 4.5!)

Product: Vera Bradley Women's Cotton Clermont Travel Tote ASIN: B0D2RYBSVS This travel tote has a large capacity. My thick sweater fits perfectly so that I don't have to carry it separately. I am glad that this tote has a secured compartment that I felt comfortable storing my keys, wallet, gadgets, and other things that I carry when I travel. The zipper was strongly stitched and looks sturdy. I can feel the softness of this bag when I hang it on my shoulder, it doesn't bother my sensitive skin. I haven't used this in traveling by plane yet but I sometimes use this as a pillow when I have to take a nap in the car, especially when I have to travel for more than three hours. The pattern and the color of this bag is very attractive. I got compliments from people I met at the mall. They look at it and ask for more information that I willingly provided so they could order from Amazon. I love this travel tote and it is highly recommended.

Vera Bradley's Tote is nicely made from high quality fabrics with a rich quilted finish. The bag is very nicely made and feels robust and sturdy. It is a nicely organized bag and makes a great day to day companion, or something to travel with. All in all... lovely.

Coming from a brand that I’ve been carrying for decades, this Vera Bradley Clermont Travel Tote is, by far, a new favorite piece to add to my collection. This tote delivers that old-school quality that Vera Bradley is known for; from the stitching, to the cotton fabric, to the bright, bold, and beautiful pattern…such a gorgeous piece. I love the zip laptop compartment and the trolly sleeve; awesome features for quick access and ease-of-portability while traveling. A great-size tote, with an 11” drop strap. This tote was built to last and worth investing in.

This tote is a cute pattern, larger than expected - fits tons!, but also still very carry on size and fits under an airplane seat. I like that it was a zipper so keeps everything inside and has a nice outside pocket - perfect for quick access.

This is a large, colorful tote with tons of room. The soft-sided bag has a diamond quilt design and floral paisley pattern in shades of blue, red, burgundy, lavender, black, and goldenrod. There are two attached handles with a 10” drop (from the top of the handles to the top of the bag) so you can carry it by hand or over the shoulder. The front has a small zipper pocket with a weather-shield flap. Attached to the inside of the pocket is a brown woven adjustable strap with a slip-lock clasp for accessories or a water bottle. The tote has two zippers across the top. The longer zipper provides access to the lined interior with two open pockets to organize your things. A second shorter zipper opens a largish pocket to stash files, a tablet, or a small laptop. The side of the tote is lightly padded, but not enough to protect electronics so you may want to use a case if you use it to carry a computer. The tote measures 17” high x 20” wide x 5” deep, so it can hold a lot of stuff. This would be great to use as an overnight bag, to hold knitting/crochet materials, store your child’s soft toys, or as a workout tote. I’m giving this product five stars for design, size, and versatility!

The print on this is so vibrant and eye catching. I can fit a ton of things in here as this is really large, but the straps are a bit shorter than I like. I prefer to carry my bags on my shoulder and this makes it awkward for me. I still love this bag over all.
