I am a dork and have a bunch of Vera Bradley totes. Maybe four or five. I got this one because the regular totes aren't designed specifically for a laptop, and have just a big open area in the middle. Great for general schlepping around things, but not right for a laptop and papers. Because of Covid, I've been working at home, but now have to take a work trip. My older work bag was already getting old, so I need a new one for this trip. Because I love Vera, I was sure I'd love this, too. Nope. Issues: 1. I have a 15" MacBook Pro. It fits in the center pocket lengthwise (long dimension of bag, long dimension of laptop), but up and down... it fits in the pocket, though it's a little bit high. But then there's a strap with velcro that's meant to go over the top of the laptop and I can close that only with determination. It barely fits. 2. The top zipper doesn't reach end to end. It stops a couple of inches short on both ends. This is somewhat similar in construction to my other Vera Bradley totes (including my Performance Twill Tote that's not a "work tote"), but it's maybe twice the gap in length and considerably more in area. Doesn't bother me on the totes, but the size of the gap really bothers me on this bag. It's really quite strange to me given the similarity to the other (non-work) totes. 3. It's also entirely unexpected that this is a couple of inches shorter than my very similar Performance Twill Tote. I expected it to have the same capacity, but with the extra features of the "work tote".) Things I like: 1. The laptop sleeve, even though it should be a bit taller 2. The outside pockets 3. That one of the outside pockets has a zipper bottom and can be converted into a pass-through for luggage. I am going to reconsider maybe sending this back and using one of the totes I already have. Quite disappointed.

I had been looking for a new work bag and saw my coworker had a similar Vera Bradley bag. It looked so professional yet casual. Clean and sleek while also fun. I immediately went on line to find the closest bag to hers. Days later it arrived....and I love it! It’s everything I wanted in a work bag. It holds my full size iPad. All my folders with enough room for personal items. It does not look overpacked. There is a flat bottom so it stands up. The top zipper keeps my items private and secure. Straps are a good length and width so they don’t cut into your shoulders. The lining inside the bag is beautiful. And the bag itself is so lightweight that once you fill it you are not bogged down with a bag too heavy to carry. I can’t recommend this bag enough!

This is the most wonderful, and useful bag ever, it has everything you could ever need. I love all the pockets, zippered pouches, lap top holder, and more. It can hold so much stuff, it's size is perfect, and the material is for all weather, even has water repellent fabric. I will get use out of this bag for years to come.

Very nice bag! It looks classy, is well made, and has ample compartments for the many items I need to take with me every day, including my iPad. The only drawback is it is a bit heavier than the cotton material usually used, and kind of big. But having room for everything makes up for that. No more annoying searches to the bottom of a small bag with everything thrown in the bottom, and crowded.

This bag is sturdy and elegant with a slit to connect to roller luggage. It has several inside pockets for computer and organization. I’ve used other Vera Bradley bags over the years, and this one is a little smaller but has all the extras that make travel easy. Highly recommend.

I wanted to love this laptop bag but just didnt. It is very heavy without the laptop in it. Its very wide and the fabric si sooo thick which makes it bulky. I did not like the design and did not look real professional for what I was looking for. Mainly it is SO heavy! Lugging this around all the time would kill me. I returned it.
